yea well,
I'm pretty sure there's already such a thread, but i couldn't find one.
i personally usually don't use them unless i wanna test a mod quickly.

All the time.  once you've used them once its impossible not to.  but only for like moving around.  I don't ctrl-shift-f4.

I modded my guy to get rid of all the intelligence based stats like surgery and wound management.  Taking a month to heal fully isn't any fun.

I also modded tracking, spotting, and path finding because lets face it, moving at 2.4 with 20 guys isn't any fun.

I used to use ctrl-t and some times ctrl-click, but not anymore, I do sometimes edit a few skills like the guy above (wound skills tracking) but I hardly ever do that either anymore, as time goes by you want more of a challenge.

I have the opposite experience, as time goes by I'm more and more bored by the map stuff and just want to get to the next battle so I can bash some skulls in. I won't blatantly cheat, but if for example I forget to change my equipment or something I have no problem teleporting back to the castle to grab it and then return to the spot I was at, instead of backtracking like I should, etc.

I'm starting my first game with no cheats enabled, so, yes I used too but, only ever cheats such as ctrl click, or ctrl t, and sometimes ctrl x for soldiers.

I'll sometimes use Ctrl-t just to see whats going on in the world.  Other than that I don't unless its for testing out some things

Yes.

But not ctrl-[shift]f4. Mostly ctrl. click on the map and ctrl. X for multiple purposes.

Hey, I pretty much do this because the beginning is boring...

well ctrl + f4 cheats suck balls because ur weapon profiency gets unbalanced and when u use ctrl + w it gets unbalanced too.
also i rather use ctrl + h multiple times than ctrl + f4.

btw. don't complain about "profiency" i got no idea how it's spelt.

I have never played with the cheats enabled but I have modified my char with the export function and edited the module file. Whatever makes it more fun for yourself, right?

Nope, I will use cheats for testing, like WarlordG and others, but apart from that the most I've done is to modify an exported character slightly. (all I did was change where level one skill points were distributed, the overall number remained the same.) While I'm not too fond of using cheats, in single player games I say if someone wants to do it, they're welcome to it. (As long as they don't come here and complain to us that they're bored with the game afterwards.)

The good of dont use cheats are -
When Warband be released
Who dont use will rox and called cheaters and hackers
and those people that use cheat will be noobs too and will call tthe non-single-cheater hacker.

=D

I have around three characters for each mod; one who has no cheats, is raised from crap to either fight on his own or lead, the second is my import character which I've raised with no cheats through different mods but I outfit him once with half decent armour and weponry with cheats, and the third I use when I hate Calradia and all its inhabitants. He can outrun a courser, outshoot a Vaegir, punch out a charging Knight, flirt better then Nizar and outdrink a Huscarl. And all of them share the same name; Johtas the Hammer-Wielding Hippy!
