Do you think the forums will be alot more active on & after full release?

Discord allows people to upload images, videos super easy and from their phones. They can also chat/talk live to one another. This forum doesn't have that capability so I don't expect them to move away from the discord channels anytime soon.

I personally don't like their terms and conditions regarding data gathering - so I keep discord as a tool for when I really need to use it - restrict it to web only and avoid any of their apps / software at all times.

we are already spied enough with Whatsapp and social media in general - so I'm not very inclined to willingly sign up for even more intrusive policies.

I don't know about you, but i have 0 urgency to socialize with rest of forum/discord. I came here to make the game better, not look for friends.

The main advantage of Discord for modders is they can share their pc screen and live demonstrate how to do something to a team member(s).

Wasn't talking about making friends really but if people want to use the game to make friends and organise multiplayer then good for them. Discord is definitely where they should be.

I'm not on it myself anymore but I popped my head in for a bit and it was alive and well. You can also not socialise on it by like... not talking on it. Just use the space to looks at what mods people are playing with etc and use these forums for what it's currently used for which is segregated topics based on particular bugs or topics, which seems exactly what youre looking for!

And no, I have got the mental capacity to try make any new friends these days. Definitely not ones who enjoy this sh*try game! (lol jk jk (not)).

Yeah I can see why one wouldn't want to for those reasons. It is a very convenient app, but I wouldn't be on it now myself anymore.

considering how TW ignores all feedback and does whatever it feels like I'm not sure your intent's a good time investment - but I feel you. I often argue with others on diverging povs over how to improve the game, not that it helps at all because in the end we're all ignored anyway, to me these little altercations and talking about how it could be better has been more entertaining than playing their sorry game... Which's not a good sign.

No it's not a good sign. But if I'm not banned by then, I just wanna see the suspected fallout for console release to feel even more justified in my opinion we were robbed.
