What do you think about the siege mode?

Would've liked to test the siege engines but people stole them quickly. Some ladders and siege towers would've been cool too, but this seemed to be a smaller siege map so makes sense not to include them for this one.

Overall, it was pretty damn good!
 
I'm not sure about it yet. I'm sure it'll be alot of fun but need to play it more. It is different to warband for sure, more of a conquest mode than a one flag capture the flag.
 
Still a lot of balance issues and bugs. It looks promising but it has work to it and with archer spam dominating its even more work
 
Really nice to see some siege gameplay!

It's hard to say how balance will go: attackers didn't really play for the flags or use siege weapons correctly. As it gets tested more I bet people will know more where to push and how to capture the flags. Even so, defenders ALSO didn't really know how to play, and since they won by such huge margins, I will say that the game looks to be in favor of defenders, as most people expected.

Also, the catapult (or whatever the name is) ammo bugged out at one point.
 
This mode was such a blast! Attackers do not have it easy though at all. The spawn timer for defenders might need to be reworked only played as defenders. Was very very easy. Other than that was thoroughly impressed how fast team work adaption came into effect with shield walls protecting equipment and defending breaches . Also it was not easy to get into match. Would not connect had to reconnect 10 times to get in.

BRING BACK THE SIEGENESS!!!!
 
Pretty good stuff, but some things do worry me, such as the infinite ammo baskets that defenders and attackers have access to. People shouldn't be able to archerspam on siege, it's simply not fun for the attackers at some point.

That ballista control is also just horrendous. It feels like your mouse is sliding on ice.

Otherwise, though, pretty damn good. Good job, devs.
 
First impressions pretty good, was a lot of fun for the length of time we got. Obviously some balancing issues to figure out. Performance pretty decent, for me at least. No visual, textural bugs. Was a little confused about the flags, just took it for granted there would be just the one. The ladders, i never got to try them as an attacker, i'm not sure what was going on there but it looked pretty nasty, because of the literal hands on approach of scaling them, conveyor belt of death etc.
 
Very promising, needs more maps and balancing. I have a feeling the MP playerbase for bannerlord will be at least 10% as opposed to 3% for warband.
 
On the map we played the siege tower is next to useless.
You are under constant barrage of arrows, ok, thats to be expected, sure, so you drive the siege tower all the way to the point.
But to actually go up to the tower, you have to climb ladders.
Why.
Enemy is already standing on top and waiting for you while you are trying your best to not get your ankles repeatedly pierced by arrows.

Also, the morale system should absol-frickin-lutely not exist at all in siege modes. Sieges are supposed to be longer matches, this is no skirmish, it just kills the games prematurely for no reason at all, just make it so attackers have to capture all the flags in order. IN ORDER
Because once or twice some sneaky player took the last flag and the game ended. The heck.
NO MORALE SYSTEM ON SIEGE, k ty ty ty
