I hope you know what exaggeration is, and if you take a look on Bannerlords Nexus page and consider that all that is there rn was done completely without any modding tools is ridiculous.
And before someone here comes with "Those are just small mods", sure they are extremely small and 99,9% of them are doing nothing more than 1-2 scripts. Those 1-2 scripts make the game more immersive than anything we have in Vanilla Bannerlord rn. And the fact that TW hasn't done so many thing in +-10 years that these mods (for example Peasant revolts, Named Bandit factions etc.) do super sucessfully in just 2 months makes me honestly kinda angry/disappointed with TW work ethic. Especially seeing they even deleted some things, that were there in video footage from 3 years ago, even tho they are quite minor, like animations for a gate that gets destroyed and opens up instead of just exploding, soldiers giving audio feedback when you give commands shows me, and gives me a lot of confidence in saying that TW will not be able to finish this game anytime soon.
At this point Bannerlords has become almost like Duke Nukem Forever for me, infinite developing time, and a pretty lackluster end experience. The Difference is that i know how freakin good the Mod Community is.

And i could go on with this forever, why is there a Banner Editor on the Internet but not in the game itself? Why are we stuck with mostly pretty boring Vanilla Banners in the game that are less customizable than a WoW Character creation.
Why is TW not able to fix the economy ingame but the community managed it in less than 2 weeks?
Why is the Replay Editor not in the game yet, a feature that was, if i remember correctly, shown almost 3(!!!) years ago?
The vast majority of mods aren't adding anything new but simply use mechanics TW already developed.

Well, consider that many of those mechanics are buried in the .exe file and not changeable. Also consider how much the modders have been able to squeeze out of the existing game mechanics to do things that were initially considered impossible. If there's a will, there's a way, but TW either lacks the will or else they've got a few serious defects in their organizational structure that get in the way and drag everything down to a crawl. It's getting done, but at a snail's pace.

Give it 10 months and it will be "much improved", but not "done". Give it 3 years and MAYBE we can call it "close enough". I suspect that they will continue work on it (or expansions for it) for the next 5-6 years before they give up on it and start working on the sequel, with engine upgrades and other major changes that will take it to the next generation of gaming software, but once again fall a couple of years behind the AAA studios.

Just imagine how long it will take till we see M&B 3, by that point we finally were able to colonize a different planet, only use nuclear fusion as a power source and made a ****ton of somewhat decent trade agreements with other species from the universe. 3 Months after we conquered half the galaxy, TW gives us a Dev Blog, saying its not quite done yet but maybe they will stream some gameplay footage into our Brains at that years E3. Plottwist, they won't

These mechanics were added by Taleworlds, not the modders. Considered impossible by whom?

Or they have different priorities. How many modders fixed crashes and improved performance? Also the developers need to take more things into account than 'fix my issue now, regardless of balance issues and further development plans'.

Which is good, AAA studios suck at making good games. Anyway, currently it's difficult to judge development pace. So far they prioritised crashes and performance. It's possible we'll see more content over the next week's and months.
