Warband is a meme, I am waiting for bannerlord mode that introduces warband voice lines in bannerlord. "It's almost harvesting season m'lord". "I will drink from yer skull". The singleplayer of bannerlord will be a lot better, and the mods. As for multiplayer, I agree that I don't like the esport feel, captain mod is meh, skirmish is try-hard central and premades are virtually unbeatable vs randoms, sieges are cool though, it's the only game mode I'm enjoying in multiplayer (+ team deathmatch). Hopefully mods will give great multiplayer modes, and if nobody will play the official modes I hope taleworlds realizes what players truly want

Warband by far, Bannerlord is just not there at all yet. Maybe in a year Bannerlord will be better than warband.

I think that Warband is superior for now as I can connect with the world and immerse myself in it but in Bannerlord it is extremely barren and empty with nothing to do other than fighting, grinding and more fighting (trading is also there). I want Bannerlord to become a great game and look forward to that day.

In a way its kinda sad we need mods for this game too be enjoyable, still love its there, but yeah... bannerlord makes me sad particular the MP.

Have you tried the custom troop mod? I made my own faction and troop tree, it's not hard to do. Just editing some XML files. It's made the game playable again.

I wont vote, but bannerlord only because the graphics are nicer?

Besides that there is no way it is near as good hahaha. Unfortunately.

Warband is better overall when you factor in available mods, but when it comes to base games, Bannerlord wins by a landslide, even in it's incomplete state.

The mod support is really the main thing Warband has going for it. And the main reason Bannerlord's mods are falling short is because the game isn't finished yet, and thus modders occasionally run into problems. I think it's safe to say that once Bannerlord is finished, and thus modders have free reign, it will be the unquestionably better game.

Yep in the long run, especially when the modding community beings to make a lot of mods, Warband will be overtaken.

I couldn't go back to Warband, it's just the lack of multiplayer content that makes me bored of Bannerpoop.

Bannerlord quite easily. I know there is a lot of dissatisfaction around BL but if you compare it to the "empty plains" of Warband it is a no contest.

Here's hoping they do something with sieges, a few different types of interaction/quest and a whatever else. Especially looking forward to a LoTR mod in BL. Will be beyond awesome.

After Bannerlord release i cant play Warband anymore but the thing is i cant play Bannerlord too because lack of depth and content. After playing hours and hours warband with mods Bannerlords is too dull in my eyes in current state

Warband is a timeless classic to me, i have more than 5k hours in it + classic and it also has many immersive features currently missing in bannerlord, even with all that i had to vote bannerlord because it's has the best potential of the series to become a completely breathtaking game, it just needs to be improved more by the devs and hopefully add back many missing features from warband, it HAS potential, just gonna wait and see if they'll harness it to become the next timeless classic or forget about what made the series amazing and leave bannerlord to be forgotten after a few years.

I gave up on yet another Warband campaign, mainly because the lords constantly jumping from faction to faction has gotten so absurd that I don't even recognize most of the lords anymore in the faction I was working for. Having a single lord faction-jump every 3-6 months of game time would add a little flavor, so you occasionally face a different set of troops than expected, but having several of them jumping every month turns every faction into some kind of generic porridge with no flavor of its own.

On the other hand, nearly all of the features work, which is more than I can say for Bannerlord. Bannerlord WILL become the better game, given time and proper attention from the developers, but at this point, it's nowhere near done, and Warband is still better for just about everything other than graphics. I can ignore the quality of the graphics if the gameplay is good. So far, in Bannerlord, it's not good.

I have never played Warband, only Bannerlord. From what I know about the two, I believe I will only continue to play Bannerlord, though will consider other titles that come out in the future. I agree regarding the idea of Bannerlord having a lot of potential, and in my opinion more potential and more to offer down the road than any other current game that they've made.

Bannerlord's gameplay overall is an improvement and it's battles are more enjoyable *although frustrating* overall.

The main thing I like in warband over Bannerlord is the character skill/leveling system. It's very good for planning out your dream commander and I got a lot of enjoyment over many games of refining my builds! Bannerlord, by contrast is unbalanced in the ease (or even ability) to raise different builds. Many skills are just far to slow and awkward in leveling to get very high on the player. Further more the "level up =all skill learning speed down" combined with "you get level up exp even if you don't raise skills" makes it impossible to participate in combat and build slower passive skills at a good rate.

Bannerlord has lot of stuff to iron out still but I admit it's hard to go back to warband now.

Agree....I miss the in depth character build system of warband.....

Just installed Viking Conquest, hadn't tried it before. (Played Warband for many hours) Even though Bannerlord is better in many ways, it is a good time to experience the game I haven't explored.

I stopped playing Bannerlord only to not exhaust the content when it is halfway complete, as it is now. I prefer starting fresh when it is fully released.
