Do my vassals EVER garrison troops?

I've been playing as a king for a while now and all but one of my castles are run by my vassals and so far only one castle has any kind of a garrison.......of seven people. Is this a bug or are they really that slow with defending their damn castles?

Don't know...It's not particularly hard to do, as native expansion did it, and so does every other lord sides your own...

Wait for mods I guess. Myin rarely garrison, so I just garrison a hell of alot of troops in a castle before giving it to a lord.

I was afraid of that, I give all my castles away because I HATE garrisoning troops.....lol

Try ordering your lords to go to their castle, eventually they'll start garrisoning it.

I'm not a king, but I have noticed that the lords do seem to garrison troops, slowly but surely...

The troops they garrison slowly level up as well.  One of the castles I pass by near my own has like 50 Footman and 32952398 archers..

It's even better when other lords garrison your castles for you.(Pre-fiefdom)
