Do Lords gain Exp/Renown?

You'd actually think this would be answered somewhere, but I couldn't find it in any of the stickied threads or by doing a search, either here or in the mods forum.

Simply, do Lords gain renown when they win fights? I know the lords of all factions start with 1200 renown.

Also, do Lords get xp and level up, or is everything there static too?

i think they gain experience but dont use the points to distribute to skills and attributes.not sure about renown.

From what I've seen they don't have all the same renown.
I had lords in my kingdom with less than 100 up to 800 so there seems to be some development. Their skills and levels are something I can't say much about, but you probably noticed the [+] for being advanced in level when you take a lord prisoner.

Well, I will say regarding skills and attributes, different lords start with different skills. Whether they improve from there is a different matter.

I'm not sure - as far as I've observed Lords renown changes over time (in both directions). On the other hand I upgraded one companion into a lord (or actually into a tribune *lol*) - but since that time his renown was always 200. didn't change at all.

Can't say if it has anything to do, that he was a companion once, or if he didnt fight at all since the upgrade. (?)

As long as Lords do change I'm happy.  This is actually a question for a mod I'm working on, but since it involves a question of whether these mechanics in general EXIST, not how to change them, I figured it'd go here.

Normal lords get +- in renown, my companion lords didn't. As you stated they were at 200, always, after years of fighting. The only time when one companion lord got +19 renown was, when he threw a feast in his castle. But that was only once ever.
I'm sure that they get a boost in renown too if they win a tournament.

But this was a savegame from patch 1.126 I think, I don't know if something has changed.

I gave fiefs to three noble companions in the latest version (1.131) of the game (Matheld, Alayen and Bathewhoever).

Matheld has 330 renown and the other two 315.

I gave them all cities, if that helps.

and what alot of people probably dont know, npc vassals have levels going from 21-41+, with high levels of leadership.... and virtually no party skills, except tactics, they usually have decent tactics to make beating the **** out of the player when hes weak even easier.
