Do I sell books after they're finished?

Hey, I want to know if I should sell my books after I've finished them? I think I've read somewhere that they keep giving you bonuses, is that true?

I believe it depends on the book. There are several that give you bonuses as long as they are in your inventory, but the others, I believe the bonuses you receive from reading them are permanent.

The books you read will have a status in your inventory, when its done its "100% read ", if the book say this you could very well sell it.

It would be better to find a book merchant to sell it to as well.

Not especially. But they will have about 6,000 denarii (the cost of the book you bought off them) and their inventory doesn't change. Also, you might, for some reason, want to get the book back...

I tend to hold onto them until I really, really need to buy something expensive. Like a Masterwork Ashwood Longbow in Native Expansion. At 150k, it ain't too cheap.

By NA, do you mean "Native Expansion." If so, yeah, it's definitely worth the play. Good mod, lots of fun, even if you just like Native.

How do I read the actual books? I click on camp menu and click select an action and then read a book, is that all you do? I've done it a few times but still on 0%.

It will read the book when you're resting or waiting to build siege equipment.
