Do Defenders sally out when u come to help them?

allot of times my force is not great enough to win against the besiegers (i am not in the castle/town)
but if the defenders would join the battle we would win.
is this already implemented because i never saw it
i would be wonderful to get a pelennor fields situation
but i guess since the ai cant walk on ladders yet this wil be to much to ask

I thought they did. If the battle part is going on(the siege is done) and you attack the attacking army the defenders will join you on the field. Though seems like the castle/town defenders will sometimes charge the attacking army and get wiped out pretty fast as they are under their own control.

Yes, kind of. They join you in a normal field battle and, like @benefactr said, usually wipe themselves out early in the fight.

It would be awesome if they made special outside the wall siege breaking scenes for this so that you're actually fighting with the castle in the background.

I also really wish that they'd make some sort of special mini-battle for breaking into or out of sieges, rather than the flat "lose x troops" mechanic, which is no fun at all and completely discourages fighting siege defenses. Maybe a situation like you and ~20 picked troops have managed to sneak through the enemy camp and secure a back gate which you then have to hold against waves of attackers for a certain amount of time until the rest of your army can rush into the castle
