Do Companions disapear from Calradia when they leave the party?

Jeremus took off a while ago for one reason or another, and I haven't seen him around, nor do the travelers seem to know where he is. Has he left Calradia for good?

Did you send him on a mission? You can check the screen where you check your renown and honor and **** (forgot what you call it) and click Companion Missions (or something like that) to see his ETA.

So the consensus is that he will eventually re-appear, somewhere? Good to know.

Exactly the same thing happened to me, in my case there were five companions: Jeremus, Borcha, Katrin, Lezalit, and Alayen, they took off early on the game while I was reading the Essays on Logic book, now I'm by the day 108th, and the Travelers still not knowing were the companions are, and my character always respond "Nevermind". So I guess my companions just went for a never-to-return-vacation-until-next-patch-arrives. Or is just that it takes longer for them to respawn in another city. Who knows.

He'll definitely pop up again after a month or two... Artimenner did a whole bunch of *****ing and QQing before he left my group, he resurfaced in Veluca about two months later while I was at war with the Rhodoks and after a bit I was able to catch him in Ichamur.

I had a similar situation in a game.

I failed an attempt to besiège a forteress, got captured with my companions, and payed a ransom for me, but companions were still in jail in the sieged forteress.

The next day, my faction made peace with the faction that held my companions prisionners. I had a message telling my companions had all been released!

But now, I'm looking in the taverns and they don't reappear, and travellers ask me if I wanna find them and my character does like he never known them.

So I lost my entire party!

I'm lost in the middle of an hostile warband land, alone in the dark!

Funny fate!
