Divorce for women

Hello,

I recently posted a topic regarding my in-game husband. I play a lady (as a lady myself) and my husband was exiled outside of Calradia. Now, as far as I know divorce has not yet been implemented into the game, and so I was wondering if anyone knew if it was at all possible to either edit game files or anything similar for the time being so I can re-marry and enjoy the marriage feature. I'm not sure how it goes for men, but for women you cannot court more than one Lord at a time.

Thank you for your time, I searched for an answer but could not find it, and so I apologise if this issue has already been addressed.

Ohh I know, it sucks! Now I'm stuck xD

well i have bad news, chances are u will have to wait for an update. But serously as it is now, marrage dosent add that much to game . Only feasts thou.. which give a lot of renown

Well all right, thank you for the response. Lol, even though it's not much it's still nice to be married to someone you can talk to rather than .. yeah xD Game or not haha.

Ahhh buggerz. I'm crossing my fingers that a patch in the not-too-distant future will fix this hehe.

I don't know as I haven't gotten far enough to marry yet, so I can't help you here.   I'm sure the devs will fix this if there is no way around it.

well its not very accurate for a woman to divorce a man in middle ages, heck it wasn't allowed for the man...

so i guess a script that when ur husband gets exiled, ur open to the market, as in, it cancels the marriage system and allows "flirting" again

shouldn't be too hard to make such a script, alas i have no idea how to make a script for WB xD

Marriage seems mostly meaningless for women. I have tried twice and the only Lords who will agree to marry my women are ones that only have villages and/or debauched or other bad personalities.

ok i made a woman char too, but i have the opposite problem. Nobody wants to marry me  I even got a castle and village as fief from the ruler but every lord that i try to ask says "your not of the pure, feminine enough .." or something like that.

And "accidents" were so likely to happen, during those civilized times... :p

On a more serious note, (beside suggering assassination being implemented :p ), Marriage doesnt bring you anything worthwile beside renown for hosting parties and a "free" chest to store things you might want to store... :s

Didnt tried to roll a lady yet in warband, but i'm seriously dissapointed by the lack of interaction once you get married (even between the family) that i'm seriously wondering why rerolling at all... :s

it is same for male.
U only get relation boost with lady and that is it, really sad. I think it is an bug.

I thought that marriage was supposed to be diplomatic advantage, if you marry into a royal family that would give you a strong relationship that you use to your advantage.  As it is now its just a sentence in a feature list when people buy the game, nothing more.

my ingame step-father is my only "friend" so I think it's at least partially true. I do hope that a mod fixes this, though...

I apologise for the late response xD Was in bed

Aye, because even though he was exiled, he's still set as my husband in the character pannel, and I cannot court again. It's odd considering the fact he appears from the mists of ... outside Calradia whenever I need to break someone out of prison, tells me he's my "humblest servant" then disapears into the abyss once more, but refuses to speak to me in private. It'd be nice if you could try to convince the person who exiled him outside of Calradia to bring him back xD Or to at least have some form of contact so when you create your own faction you can have him come back as king.

I'm sure you can understand my frustration then lol. Finally finding someone to marry, regardless of whether the perks are that good or not, and then him being exiled into the unknown.

Not to mention you'd never find historical evidence of a divorce (let alone a woman initiating a divorce) in the middle ages. It didn't happen. It's nice that female characters can own land and whatnot in M&B, though.

Whatever happened to "'til death do us part"?

Thats just a small detail

Lol xD Til death to us part... or until some form of fix is added to the game.

I'm beginning to wonder whether or not divorce is a feature that should be implemented in the future. Upon rereading the thread I understand that it was not available in the middle ages *pokes HolyDevil's post*, though that wasn't any suprise. I can only hope something comes up to bring hubby back from who-knows-where xD

Yeah girl you can totaly forget about divorce.. no man wants a used woman in the old ages ... so even if u did divorce chances for u to find a man would be slim haha
