How about some more diversity in the landscapes? I think that would make this thing perfect.

That reminds me... has anyone noticed how cool the landscape generation is?

Large large large fields... with wide open area... thats something that is hard to accomplish even on todays engines without a huge performance hit.

Snowy and desert regions would be nice. I'd like to see Vaegirs dressed in their furs defending their snowy homeland against the more western European Swadians, and the Khergit raiders attacking from the deserts to the south.

A nice touch would be footprints in the snow and maybe blood-stains as well.

That and maybe some homes / farms when battling close to the cities.
