I would like to let people download the demo from my own homepage. Do you think it's ok if I distrubute it there. I mean, I'm only helping the company.

If this question was meant for the game devs, it might be a good idea to send it to them directly rather than posting it on the forum. You'll get plenty of thoughtful and possibly useful comments, I'm sure, but the odds of an actual Go or No-Go here are fairly short.

But I think asking permission is definitely the right thing to do. You could add a link to the taleworlds website, of course -- I couldn't see any objection there. But if you're going to make the file itself available, I'm pretty sure that legally speaking you need the author's permission.

I've send an e-mail to the devs also, but I thought that I could make a thread while I'm waiting för the answer. I mean, if someone was sure about it, the problem would be solved.

Maybe you or me or someone else who knows how to convert files to a share-able and then you can file share on like bittorent or kazaa even ares galaxy and limeware. But i do agree on making sure it's o.k. In fact i e-mailed them to ask them about it.
