So, I'm sure some of you have read parts of Discworld. I myself love it, and am avidly addicted. Apparently, there is a movie based on the Hogfather. Never heard of it, can't find it anywhere but this site. So, I thought I'd share.

*goes into massive geek-fit*

Yup, one Discworld addict reporting for duty, sir! I happen to have a copy of the screenplay in book-form, though I haven't taken a look at it yet. Who would buy that is beyond me. * I mean, it's Hogfather, dammit! Whoever's even slightly interested in DW already has that, why publish the same thing again?

* If you're wondering: I didn't, especially not for the £20 it says on the cover it costs. I'm supposed to translate it. Lucky me, huh?

Yeah, Hogfather was great. Wasn't really a movie though - Sky made it as a two part TV thing for Christmas.

There's also Soul Music and Wyrd Sisters in animated form (both of which are suprisingly good).

I have never heard of Discworld, but after seeing that movie I must get the books, one of the best I've seen in a long time.

Thank you so much!

I've been wanting to see that for ages!

Still, nobby was rather human looking, I wanted a spider monkey with a bit less hair

I'm now in a dilemma, watch all of it and stay up, well, all night or finish at episode 4 (it's already 2am....  Guess I'll stay up, its worth it)

Heh...I did the "stay up all night" thing with it. Missing my classes (exhaustion) was probably not the best thing to do...considering I could have watched it during free time.

I loved it, death was a bit of a disappointment though, his jaw didn't even move, his skull looked gay and his scythe was like some fantasy piece of crap.

Hehehe. It's funny cuz there's a computer store down the street from me called Discworld.

Spraypaint some graffiti on the front..."Mr Shine, Him Diamond" or something.

I have to say I prefered the voice of Death in the animated films, Christopher Lee will be the only Death for me.

Watched this last night, it was funny

I have readed perhaps 1 or 2 books before, haven't got this far in story earlier. I remember mort and that city watch guy from books, susan as death granddaughter was new acquaintance.
