In 12th (an amazing historical Chinese mod) once you are knoked out you become a random troop and you can lead your troops. I would rather see PBOD reintroduced though.

Stop meddling with the files.
No-one but lords and companions have a capacity to be a lord.
It's not just "you gonna be a lord" and poof! "It just works".
Lords require multiple slots to be filled. Doing operations on empty slots will lead to countless bugs from small ones (meeting your clones) to completely breaking the game and leading to an inevitable ctd at some point on the global map (it happened to people before). And bye-bye-bye your current playthrough.

Haha yeah it was just an experiment to see if I can expand my "King of Minor factions" role play scenario,and I definitely got a lot of ctds.
 
Has anyone tried turning on additional formations in that file?

Not sure how many errors you get if u do that

Would love to see (if possible ofc) some old formations without requiring PBOD.
 
I went back to playing 0.8 a while ago. I'm going to share some of my suggestions for Perisno 1.0 (assuming of course that it will come out).

1. disable buffed rewards
40 renown for defeating 80 sandwalkers while outnumbering them 3 to 1?
30 renown for defeating an enemy lord with 27 soldiers while outnumbering him 50 to 1?
140 renown for defeating enemy lords with equal forces (e.g. 700 against 700)?
2. fix music
It was fantastic in 0.8, it was mediocre in 0.9. Make it fantastic again.
3. enable PBOD
0.8 had PBOD, and PBODless, and PBOD with "CHAAARGE"+"Disable enemy lords passive in battles" options; 0.9 only had PBOD disabled option.
Also, for sieges, it's necessary to have the "assign ammoless archers to infantry" option.
4. fix Venetor
Make the Third Legion Fort become a fief for Venetor like Zann Fort does for the Zann and add some villages next to the Third Legion Fort and next to Venetor, make the Venetoran lords extremely loyal.
5. disable renown loss for looting villages
Not only does it make 0 sense (become less famous for doing something infamous that thousands of people would hear about??) but gameplay-wise, it ruins Mount and Blade. The only way to reduce enemy lord armies is to either defeat them in battle (lasts max 1 week until they replenish) or to reduce their fiefs' prosperity (reduces their army size and quality for several weeks). The only ways to reduce fief prosperity is to either kill all the peasants and caravans surrounding the fief, or to loot the villages.

Those are the most important and necessary fixes. I'd have some other minor thoughts and suggestions but for now, those issues are vital.
 
I think you should get renown for doing good & evil things, the most famous people in history are often the most unpleasant.  However when you harm innocents there should be a massive penalty of some sort.

You raid a village you take a huge honour penalty and all other villages of that faction are at negative relations with you.  :ohdear:
Attack a caravan then no merchants in that factions towns will trade with you, or maybe you cannot gain entry to those towns ??
 
A little nitpick, but a separate banner for kingdoms/players would be nice. Though it seems maybe not possible with how the code around them would work.
 
I wish that the new feature from Pendor where the looters from town quest would not be attacked by other parties or factions would be implemented in Perisno.

That should be an easy fix with Morgh’s by changing their faction.
 
I just added the Meadbrewer quest to the wiki. Is there a reason why so many quests are still missing from there?

I turned it on after a couple of hundred in game days. A couple of hundred in game days later and I've noticed no errors at all. It's very helpful to have ranks considering I run an archer heavy lineup.

Can you provide details? What's the name of the looters and what faction should I check them as?
 
Are there changes to prisoner recruitment? I am asking this because I was able to recruit all captured Red Immortals which I thought was impossible.

My character has negative relations with immortals, level 25 and persuasion 5. Hotfix 4 is installed.

Forgot to mention that 50 % mortality for blunt damage did also not apply.

Immortals are special troops, do not worry. It is normal and intended.
 
Female Giants would be cool to have as a household troop. Doesn’t appear like they would require special equipment.
 
Is there any way I can turn routing back on? It really spices up battle imho, shame it is nonexistent in Perisno
