Discount for owning previous games(?)

I've heard there'll be a discount for owners of the previous game(s). I own WB/NW which I bought via GoG, but can only get Bannerlord through Steam (I got the money for it in wallet). Is there any way I can still get the discount?

Looking at the announcement I'm guessing you could purchase any m&b title on steam. I reckon it works if you buy the original M&B for €2,50 on humble bundle for steam and you'd get the discount, but that's a guess.

I don't know if it will count but you can load any game into your steam library if you have a valid CD key to input into steam to activate it. That is what I did with WB since I had bought it directly from taleworlds site on release.

Oh all right, I'll just buy it through the Steam store then when it comes out. Others have said that Taleworlds will get a bigger cut of the profit if you buy through their site, but if they are selling Steam keys I suppose it will be the same.

Steam - 30% cut
TaleWorlds Store - 100% cut
Steam is the official launcher for Mount&Blade, so you will recieve a key to redeem on Steam, this has been confirmed by Callum.

If you want to support better the game developers you should buy the game on TaleWorlds Entertainment (Website).

Because of this discount, I started digging. a) I realized I still had a forum account her (unused since 2016 and otherwise forgotten) and b) I downloaded M&B and used my old serial key purchased on eSellerate in 2009 to activate this product. What would I do next to ensure that I receive this incredibly generous discount? Or, in other words, how do I prove that I own this game?

https://www.taleworlds.com/ go there, click on your name and select my games, or login and do so. Add the steam keys from your library by right clicking them and selecting manage>cd keys.
