So long as it was purchased with the base 1500 gold you may switch whenever.

Nor are you bound to your first purchased weapon.
So if you find Gsword spam is ineffective vs Pike/hammer spam, then switch it up,

Yes, if you do it on battle just loot as you normally would.

however if TDM; So long as you do it before you start the next round, you may loot. you can only loot from the battle that just took place
