Disable Battle Text Scroll?

Hello all,

Sorry if this has been posted before but I really did try searching, first time on your forums before though.

Is there a way to disable the scrolling information on the left side of the screen during battles? After having hundreds and hundreds of hours in game now the information isn't that pertinent anymore. I would like to keep the on map information and really only remove the battle text, but if I have to shrink/remove both or none at all, so be it.

I have seen a way to shrink it via the font xml file in the data folder but I would like to just remove the battle info all together if I can. I am open to editing or installing a mod to do it.

if you are referring to the death text telling you everytime someone is killed or knocked out you can turn that off, it should just be in the settings menu as "Report Casualties"
