Merentha 说:Hang on, why didn't my Vienna -> Budapest order cut his support from Budapest?

Merentha 说:Hrmm. So you're saying Russia held on to Moscow for three turns (at least) using one rule, then I lose Vienna when I'd counted on that same rule to defend it?
Alright, I'll take it, if only because I was going to lose that fight in the Balkans eventually.

The game is over. Turkey now controls 18 of the 18 required centers to win. Congratualations to both him and Germany, who was only 1 center away from catching up. Thank you for all the players involved (11 in total, I believe) and I hope I'll see many of you in our second game, which is (hopefully) soon to begin.
Then, I meantioned, I expect an End of Game (EOG) - statement from every player involved, where you describe your strategy through out the game, how the were your relations with others and things like that. Feel free to drop your EOG here any time you want, I'm looking forward of viewing them all. [cheesy enough already]
Again, congratulations to Admiral.

"If a unit ordered to support in a given province is attacked from a different province the unit disregards it's order to support." - That rule was used differently when you fought with Gculk in Moscow, but someone pointed it out later, when the turns where already out. However, the way the rule should be read is the way you lost Vienna here, I've told. Fair to end with different rules that you started - hell no. Works in favour of (mostly GM's) entertainment - pretty much. Sorry Mer, these rule issues are the thing I wanted someone else to take care of managing these, as I take every case differently.
However, these maps aren't permanent, so if both you and med are unhappy, you can work out a different result to this and we can go on. but I was sort of between the wood and the nail in there, as I didn't notice my screw up earlier with you and Gculk.
Now, if you excuse me, I need to stuck my head somewhere for a while![]()

Drachenfaust 说:I will say that I had little interest in the Russian front, so I didn't bother to analyze the turns... if I had been paying closer attention, I would have pointed out the folly sooner.![]()

Yeah, I guess you're the right to blame here
Not my fault, by any means
And Drach, you should have a message waiting. I also have a feeling your profile doesn't hold your real e-mail![]()
