Hey, we do not support mods or modded games. Try to reproduce the issue on a new campaign after manually removing all the mod files and verifying the integrity of the game files. Please let me know if the issue is persistent.
 
The problem is that the Diplomacy mod site has support for e1.8.0, but when I try to run this mod on e1.8.0, the game crashes. In addition to it, I downloaded a few more mods on e1.8.0, they all run and work fine, even if I run the Diplomacy mod separately, the game still crashes. On the Internet, I read where the logs of this problem can be located, which is why it does not want to start. I didn’t understand much except that the game really doesn’t start because of Diplomacy. That's why I came here, I thought you can understand these logs. It's just that I'd rather continue to play on version e1.7.2 where all mods and Diplomacy work.

The problem is that there is more than just version 1.80 there is a ton of letters after it etc.
Like today it got a patch, and some subtle change in the game wont work with Diplomacy that is made for the base 1.80 typically.

Again this isnt specifially towards this issue, but in general terms.

A good example I'm more familiar with is Skyrim, where there is a "mod" calle Script extender.
Each time that the core game updated we had to wait a few days until Script extender was updated.
The same is here most likely its Diplomacy that needs a tweak to get working again.

But in the end as TW said they dont support mods or issues releated to it etc.
Also my game works still today after the update with Diplomacy installed, so its more related to something in your rig I think.

But first thing first.

Disable all mods and see if it happends.
Should the game launch fine then, enable all the mods you need etc.

Basically if you need support with mods - go to the page where you found the mods - Nexus for instance.
Keep in mind that Diplomacy is dependent on 4 other mods to work aswell, so it could acutally be any of those that is the reason - or if you dont have all 4 of the installed properly you could also get that issue.

For diplomacy downloaded 6 mods. Harmony, Butterlib, mod config menu, uiextenderex and butrloader to automatically sort those mods and unlock dlls. And of course, the diplomacy mod, when you launch them, the game crashes
