Get out of here and get some rest! Lol never thought I’d be saying thatUnfortunately not yet. It is ready since Thursday but because of Gamescom things are delayed. Maybe today these changes will be sent.
Yeah honestly that’s how I’ve been thinking of it as well, my more recent runs have been Sturgia “rebellions”.If you think about it this is a very good example of rebellion. Maybe the devs could be inspired by this procedure when developing rebellions/separatism.
The only question is what would be the triggering factor for this. Maybe if some lord has a lot bigger influence as the ruler. Additionally the relationship with clans in the kingdom could be also affecting the decision of rebellion. Some lord with good relations and big influence would make an event/decision and the part taking clans could vote for this rebellion decision.
I am actually right at the point where I will rebel in Sturgia and try to take away my fiefs, so I can provide some feedback.
This is current lack of diplomacy. In some cases the other faction should refuse peace treaty...
But surely there can't just be a town on it's own, it has to have some sort of leadership? The way I’ve seen TW use it is “a town will rebel against its owner
I’m not sure what the intended “impact” will be but it has to do with a towns lolyalty I think, an example is the castle/town improvement that reduces rebellion chance by 50% (can’t remember the name)But surely there can't just be a town on it's own, it has to have some sort of leadership?
Or is it just going to be like in Rome Total War that the entire city becomes a part of a bandit faction with no one to negotiate with, and the only option is massacre?
Btw we have to need to have some understanding of what TW thinks a rebellion is because two concepts have been thrown about using “rebellion”. The way I’ve seen TW use it is “a town will rebel against its owner” NOT “a clan will rebel against a kingdom and found its own”. So I’m wondering how best for us to describe so we don’t confuse TW
I think it won’t be a problem for kingdoms home lands, but once they start to expand and take other cultures settlements I think it makes a lot of sense. This would help with snowballing by forcing expanding kingdoms to deal with that issueI do not see how could a town rebellion improve the whole game-play (other than have to fight your own people). This would only make sense if there would be some meaningful town/production/government and maybe economy management. With the current options to upgrade few buildings in towns/castles such rebellion would be an overkill.
City rebelion - yep. I did not really considered this properly before I respondedI think it won’t be a problem for kingdoms home lands, but once they start to expand and take other cultures settlements I think it makes a lot of sense. Well deserved break! I'll symbolically drink a beer with you today. What is the default beach beer there? Corona (the beer, not the virus) is trying to brain wash America here![]()
Awesome news about both the hotfix (all good if not todayThank you all for nice comments.
Efes Pilsen and Tuborg are most common beers here. I like Corona also. However its rare.
By the way hotfix can come today with 90%. They collected what hotfix includes.
Also for ones who wants more at diplomacy - I see their comments at other posts. We are aware these developments are not enough they are only a small step. Game needs alliances and rebellion system also faction balancing especially Khuzait nerf, I am not sure how many of these will be scheduled but most probably. Everybody thinks same about these.
same here, I typically get 2-3 fiefs then dip out and start recruiting lords. Any other way should probably be pretty hard
By the way do not click on two handed axe option in smithing. My game always crashes.
Isn't this mechanic mainly based on how much influence do you have to outvote them ? I am preety confident that's the way it works...I think one of the coolest things to happen was eventually not being able to outvote my lords on decisions so it was pretty cool to see my kingdom start to develop without my influence. Of course the bastards started to vote for anti monarch policies, but it definitely added to the feeling that while I was king I was not in full control.
Lol mate hope it is not photoshoppedCalm down! I am already at beach
