I love this game like no other, but we started this version shy two starters, and had defections right off the bat, thanks a lot Drach!!!

Now some of the best guys left are defecting.  And at least one of our new guys is bewildered to the point of frustration...

With all due respect to Leprechaun, who is off like a rocket, perhaps we should reset after...the holidays...exams...New Years...
With a re-started Original version Game which has the virtue of being smaller (to support the lower player Number) and faster (due to fewer centers and sectors) and somewhat easier (for players who are just getting their feet wet).

Needless to say I'm ready for the Fight...France will never surrender, (MUCH!) but we seem to be falling below critical mass.

This doesn't give every one licence to bail entirely, but we must all VOW to Return To The Field of Battle...Say the Third of January 2008...for example.

I do not mean to usurp Sir "V's" authority, this is just a suggestion, and stands only on such merits as he deems.

P.S.  I shall be incommunicado, with brief exceptions, from 21/12/07 until 2/1/08 (or 12/21/07 to 1/2/08 depending).  I'll be off to join my polar relatives in Buffalo quasi-Canada (New York, U.S.of A.) and as a result I too would ask a hiatus...Please!

Not a bad idea. I admit I tried to scretch the number of people involved too far, as we've already seen 3 dropping outs. If people don't disagree in Med's suggestion about reseting the game after New Year. The current game can be run until that as a crippled one.

Buggy, I except you to join that game too. You claim this to be hard, but you'll get some private lessons. No way you're skipping out of this.
