Diplo lords on exile

Ok so I was playing Diplo mod on warband, and Count Kurnias decided to join my kingdom after I mop the floor with their rhodoks marshall army.  Since I didn't want any more lords at the time I decided to not accept him and said no, he then said something which I overlooked by fast clicking, but I noticed on his message screen it says he has left the realm.  The first funny thing is that i could still talk to him just like any other lord and when I asked about how goes the war he said he was at war with every single faction (including mine). (wanted to throw in a picture but don't know how)

I didn't really care since I thought he would just leave when I exit my town but later on I started to see villages been looted by "lord" Kurnias even though my kingdom was not at war with any other factions.  By tracing the looted villaged I manage to hunt down "lord" Kurnias and saw him just like any other lords except his background colour was dark brown and there was no (faction name) under his name so he was ovbiously not in any of the seven factions on Calradia ( including mine).  Is this a glitch? Bug? Or is this how the mod treats lords on exile?  I'm sure he is hostile to everyone on the map.

I've had this happen quite a lot, even without Diplo (but diplo seems to increase the frequency of it recurring).

IIRC lords who exile are not immediately moved from play, but are simply stripped of titles and land.  They are incapable of recruiting new troops so they just wander aimlessly or indiscriminately raid villages until they get waylaid by a larger party. Once they are defeated this way they disappear for good because they have no centers to respawn at. I've never seen them be recruited by a king after they exile.

I've had outlaw Tulug Noyan get taken prisoner by a bunch of steppe bandits before. Personally I wish these kind of things occured more often.
