well i was just considering a suggestion i dont really know the name of it but...

i mean something you were over your armor, like the heraldric armor, you can have different of these and you can wear em over whatever armor you want, it would look cool and you could have different cloths for different factions like one for vaegir and one for swadians, besides i always wanted to charge around in crusader gown over my black armor, and another suggestion is to improve the black helmet, it doesnt look like it gives better protection than the great helmet... besides great helmet looks cooler, so i wear the great helmet instead of a black helmet... unfortunately..

you mean like this!?

i would also like this verry much! for horse and rider
looks tooo awsome!!!

but it could be lot of work to do...

I think only noble people had their own heraldic figure. I think you had to be given at least some villages or a small castle to get one.

Knights were very seldom, because they had to train a lot and his equipment was worth a few villages, so they should be someting special
So that's why there are so many different coats of arms on this picture.

heh thats exactly what i meant...

that would be an awsome future, and perhaps in a future patch armor and weapon smithing can be enabled or something similar and you can customize how you want your armor too look like... i would love to have a great helmet with feathers in it..

That sounds like a good idea but only for knight units. Each faction already has their own style of armor for the regular troops, for example the Vaegirs dress more barbaric and Viking-esque while the Swadians are English/Germanic. I doubt a regular soldier would be able to have their own colors as such a thing is expensive, it would cost a lot of money to have matching uniforms and such. But maybe having a certain style of shield or a certain-colored sash to represent each faction would be good, and the knights could have more ornate features.

I think only noble people had their own heraldic figure.

as far as i know heraldic signs like this(wappen), are used since 1000-1100 for noble man, but since approx. 1300 it was also common for "better" normal people to get a wappen. with "better" i mean mearchants, smiths, and every other well payed handycraft man.

such kinds like farmers and other "low-payed" people where still not able and allowed to get their own wappen.
