Didn't Eyegrim used to be capturable?

I seem to remember getting a Qualis from him in earlier versions of POP, but I guess I could be wrong. I know Maltise used to not give a Qualis, but does now.

I think it was the other way around....
Eyegrim the devourer was/is a demon and as such you were never been able to capture him... just like with revenants... - even if you used blunt weapons they were allways killed and never KOed...

As for Maltise from Snake Cult - i am pretty sure i got quite a few gems from her in pop 2-2.5...
in POP 3.01 she has not yet spawned in my game.... so i'm yet to find out for myself

I think i remember reading on forum that even though you cannot capture eyegrim or the seers, but it's possible to find qualis gem in the loot after you defeated their armies as compensation (though it's likely to be a rare find)

You could never in PoP 2-2.5 capture Eyegrim - he was always killed or escaped and it is still that way.  Maltise used to be capturable but none of the major villains like her, Wulfbode, etc. can be captured and recruited now, as was sometimes the case (bug) in V 2.0 - 2.5.  You might get a gem in the loot if you or one of your troops killed her.  If you joined a battle against Maltise, the odds are you won't find a gem in the loot - you have to instigate the battle.

I captured Maltise in the last game I played and released her for a Qualis Gem using POP 3.01
