yes. always. it just depends on how many allies were with you when you take it

AFAIK, I never get loots from sieges.

it was a joke, the ketchup was. A stupid one.

Siege defense or assault?  In defense..you only get loot if you get to the point where you capture lords and troops (ie, you beat their last wave).

I get loot when I win sieges (native, no tweaks).  When I defend I get nada.

I think you get loot if you are the one sieging the castle, not just joining in the assualt.
