diagonal attacks??

It would be great to add diagonal attacks and parries  (realists--no like seeing down) as a feature on Mount&blade > 1.0
Does anyone know how to do something like that

Or quick attacks (realists), wouldn't it be great?

The combat system as a whole is hard-coded. Wait for M&B 2.
