I hope they've taken into consideration what everyone said and they're working on something rather than changing values and balancing. In my opinion, I think they should focus on finishing all the perks first, and then maybe add a way that prevents all lords from having 75% of their army consisting of recruits/lords escaping captivity/coming back to the battlefield instantly.

Thoughts?
 
There's a patch coming out right now, 1.1.2. I'm pretty sure it's going to be disappointing.
 
It looks like they’ve removed the patch notes threads that had been pinned before, maybe they’re preparing for a new update soon.

They didn't remove the thread they just unpinned it. Not sure why

Both stable version got updated (1.1.2) and beta branch.

Yes. Also, everyone's game just updated. There's an update for 1.1.2 and for 1.2.0.

edit: Also, this thread title -- "no patch for 2 days" -- you know what else was two days? The weekend.
 
Just got some tiny little thing downloaded, which I knew what it was. Got aother late yesterday too without any info. On beta build btw.

    • AI is more likely to block when equipped with a shield. Common troops now generally have higher weapon skills.
    • Fixed a crash that occurred when the player was a faction ruler and ended a contract with a mercenary or minor faction and refused to settle their debt.
    • Pregnancy chance has been lowered.
    • An AI bug that reduced performance is fixed.

Why such pessimism? We have a whole year of patches ahead of us, this is just the beginning.
Because instead of getting any actual content, which in some cases is already in game, but only commented out, we are getting bug fixes for non-existent bugs put into patch notes just to make them bigger.

They said they were slowing things down and trying to move to a weekly cadence. So the expectation should be ~7 days with no patches with hotfixes being a bonus.
 
Because instead of getting any actual content, which in some cases is already in game, but only commented out, we are getting bug fixes for non-existent bugs put into patch notes just to make them bigger.
Just because you haven't experienced certain bugs doesn't mean others don't get them. The game is unplayable for a lot of people who paid the same money you did
