Rather not. If you really like any of the 3.7 items, you will be able to transfer (replace) models to 3.8 using OpenBRF and copying required textures. For one item whole operation shouldn't take more than 5mins.
Shame, thanks for the advice though.
The reason is that we are trying to optimize overall performance by e.g. merging some texture sheets, so we can remove some, which cover only one item.

BTW, is there going to be any update in faces department?

After working on Perisno lords, I'm really astonished at how many good-looking and quite different from each other male faces can be created with the help of improved male faces OSP.
Native face mesh&textures look like crap after that.
Some of my favorites as an example:

Empire have Spartans - they call them Gladiators.

It is a bit too late to implement changes like this as we are trying to balance game at the moment.
All good, still hyped that you guys are that far in though.

On this note, I noticed the much better looking armours have much higher numbers of poly's compared to the older ones (in most cases). Is this likely to make a hit in performance at all?

Vertices were "moved" from weapons, helmets, gloves, boots to armours. By removing wasteful geometry we recovered some resources, which partially were used to improve armours. For example we have 7 ebony swords in the game - now they look better, while number of faces were reduced from 10415 to 3424 (vertices by 47%). Overall most of the units should have the same or less resource hungry outfits (as a whole, not only armours).

Bouncing off this, do you plan on using the same texture for all projectile meshes in order to prevent the rather annoying shield bug? Where embedded projectiles in shields apply the material of the first projectile that hit the shield, so if they use different materials the mesh will look weird.

TBH I have never noticed this behaviour. I think you are the first one reporting it on this board, which means it is not that important. Or using different words - time required to correct this bug can be used on more fundamental things.

I think that we could have an NPC [merchant, bard, ransom broker or even a companinon, or at least a mention in a dialogue] named Konrad, heheh. Your work is amazing, dude.

BTW, idk if you're going to improve some of the other clothes - the ones that doesn't need so much strenght to wear - for the diplomatic [not knightly] characters, are we going to see any changes at these ones? :]

Snouz improved a lot of outfits.

Snouz improved a lot of outfits.

And since you see common clothing in taverns now, I added/improved a lot of them, and made them faction specific.

Great
I usually play the 'weak but persuasive and leader' character hahah. TY for the reply. Keep the good work, devs :]

Cheers from Brazil

And btw, will you guys put in the rest of the Noldor's story in? I thought I'd get them to tell me about the loss of their island and magic after getting my relation up to 100, but even after saving their butts in so many battles, they still need to "get to know me better".

if I donated 500 dollars could we at least get a guarantee that this will be out before Bannerlord?  :fruity: :fruity: :fruity: :fruity:
I believe 3.8 will be ahead of the full version of bannerlord,
Btw,I think dev just wants to perfect pendor, and we all can see that from the blogs.
Features from 3.7-3.8 is even more than 3.01-3.6,and that's only my judgement from the blog and show off video :iamamoron:

We accept only gold ... or eventually Noldor Trade Good.

What we are trying to do now, is to balance kingdoms, to prevent situation that in every game the same faction always falls first. Player, who wants to keep status quo on the map (till is ready to start own kingdom) won't be "forced" to always help that one side. But this operation is time consuming (3 instances of the game at the same time, 400 days each, about 13mins real life) as we need to gather enough data to have useful statistic.

Love the look of new guard and pommels. Nice work konr@d!

I have one concern though- have you guys done anything to the zerker armour, or are you gonna leave it since you already improved the meshes in the last update? I mean... there have been a few times where my female companions decided to upgrade and show me their gains.

I'm not suggesting a change mind you; the novelty of my female companions shoving their basketball pecs in my face on the off chance we converse still hasn't worn off.
