As I'm not at all interested in the beta, a small question to EA: that no modding tools will be released with it, does this mean that the game is not accessible to modding at all (because you cannot open any files or read the language or ...), or are just the tools for more "complex modding" missing?

More precisely, could you for example edit equipment of recruitable NPCs like changing armor of tier x (visually)? Or change damage of weapon y from 8 to 10?

Pretty sure it’s only locked for beta. They wouldn’t want people messing with the files before the game is released.
