In this week’s blog, we want to take a look at Skirmish mode, which is a brand new multiplayer game mode for the upcoming Bannerlord...

[/parsehtml]Read more at: http://www.taleworlds.com/en/Games/Bannerlord/Blog/103

I love it ...You see Callum now everyone wants to be your friend; they just needed you to give them love™.
I hope that the availability of the closed beta will be between April and August (gamescom) and that in the conference you will pronounce yourselves definitively on a release date this year.

@Calamity, can we expect beta coverage from BladeCast?

Nice blog I guess.

For my part, it doesn't do anything since I'm a single player type of M&B player, but it's good seeing the word ''beta'' doing a resurgence in the blogs.
That being said, I feel it's pretty obvious now that we won't see the game release this year.
Calum, I know you can't give us the damn release date, but can you at least give us a ''no release this year'' confirmation ?
I like the blogs and everything M&B but I cannot see myself doing this ''thursday waiting game chore'' any longer and I'm certainly not alone here.
I think, it's a legitimate request. I'm not asking for the release date here, simply a ''no-go'' 2019 confirmation.

Please.
Have a good day,

Sorry man, but I've been playing this game since 2005, possibly earlier. Doesn't mean I'd make a great beta tester. They need people who are responsible to report bugs, etc. I don't think the amount of hours you've played really conveys qualification.
[/quote]

I agree, they do need people who know how to find and report bugs, but a beta test can also serve as quality assurance. You have a large fanbase that has stuck it out for years waiting eagerly for this game, Most of those people having hundreds or thousands of hours in their previous games and would know how to give good feedback. There are many aspects to beta testing.

Lets just hope that those of us that have been here from the start get a chance to play early aswell as a range of people that can contribute to bug finding and feedback.

I'm sure the beta testers already know who they are. There are tons of guys who are well known on the native competitive scene and people who have modded enough games that they have a solid enough roster.

I love the idea of a skirmish mode, and it really opens up the competitive scene even more where strats are going to take even more precedence. Even better are skirmish mode maps. Can't wait to see what modders do with this.

Honestly, this has been the best blog in 2019 as far as I'm concerned.

What was new in this blog? The weekly developer blogs have a lot of words but very little meaningful information in them, like they've been written for a politician.

What is the purpose of writing the developer blogs if you are not allowed to reveal anything?

Lads, you are making a mistake praying to Callum, he is only the prophet of the divine word and although he has love for us; only God can give us the glory.

Wow. This picture is probably more accurate this way than in its original form. With every different person in it representing a different mod. Praying to the man who will deliver us the perfect platform for said mods.
What a masterpiece.

Thanks for the news! Take your time guys and make the game as realistic as possible. You could add autopilot for horses as in real life. They gallop in the direction you show until you change the direction, but they do not bump into a tree or stone or something neither they jump from the cliff. The real horses are afraid of many things unless they are trained well. This means you could add variations of trained or untrained horses for all factions with the price respectively in addition to their speed and health. Untrained horses will not charge the enemy effectively as the trained warhorses or they might not come back if the player fell off the horse in the middle of the battle. Well trained warhorses can hit the enemy and make some damage in case enemies surrounded the player or blocked the path. I believe this will make the game more realistic!

"However, fear not! We will discuss much more about multiplayer in future blogs, including Bannerlord’s new class system, matchmaking, additional game modes, and, of course, details about the upcoming closed beta!"

2020 confirmed

Uh?
It was obviously not coming out this year... And maybe it will be 2020, but it could as well be the year after that
