A good score connects you to the setting as a whole and grounds you to the scene; it evokes certain feelings and images, moves you to feel in a certain way. But that’s not all: music is one of the very few things that you never really forget – and it’s always connected in your brain with the feelings you had when you listened to it. And so, in many years from now, if you happen to hear a certain melody you will be brought back to that moment, to that memory. That is why we take really seriously the music of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord – and why we have tried to be as authentic as possible, asking a true medieval music band to compose and play music for the game. And it’s not a trivial task – it takes artistic talent, but also lots of research and hard work… But let’s leave that for them to explain in their own words in a special Q&A!

[/parsehtml]Read more at: http://www.taleworlds.com/en/Games/Bannerlord/Blog/129

I think it would be cool if you lot rerecorded the old beta soundtrack. It has some memorable songs.

Oh my... this is the chill song I want when casually campaigning - i think that is where warband did so well, there were multiple chill songs which works well with me casually running around the map but I haven't heard anything of the like for bannerlord yet... I hope there is something of that.

I like the music tbh, but I must admit, that I turn all music off when I'm playing my games. I understand that some people love music, but it always irks me that in many of the kickstarter projects that I have backed, usually 1 of the major, expensive stretch goals, tends to be a fully orchestrated, music score.......

Would weather affect the terrain like mud which should affect armored units be weaker vs light units and switch the advantage of the horse as well?

Is there really deep diplomacy in Bannerlord? Will it be this fortnight in which we will hear about it?

I have an uneducated guess, as always.

Yes it's deep, from a certain point of view. Anythig deeper has been officially declared particularly "no fun" for the player.
