Sure, soundtrack (not only music) is very important for any game.

But this was a pretty empty and ad-driven devblog.

Although this blog's topic isn't necessarily what I would have wanted, I have to admit that this was one of the best blogs yet.

The blog is good but bad at the same time. Good because it introduces more material into the soundtrack.
Personally I have an erection when I hear this:

Finally a maintheme at the height (my opinion).

Bad, because it's a rather brazen promo introduced without a shoehorn in a devblog (a simple tweet would have been enough...for example Cyberpunk 2077 promoted Hyper's song Spoiler). The blogs that may remain should focus more on main "things" and not so much "secondary"; with all due respect to the work of Ensemble Galatia.

Edit
And tell us about advanced diplomacy, for God's sake.

Disagree with  that part.

Music is a major part of any game. And with genre like mount and blade its very important to get that "immersive" feeling.

Each faction having their own genre of music adds to the atmosphere of the game.

The lack of interest of the community in this specific thread is the proof this devblog was one of the worst ever made.

I have to say I enjoyed the music clip and I'm now listening to them on YT.  March is sooooooooooo far away
March is too far away....
Just think though, two months have already passed! Already ~1/3 of the wait (since announcement) is over. We are closing in on that month, which means TW will have to start showing us what goodies Bannerlord contains very shortly... Otherwise how would it look to release a game with such little information known?

This has nothing to do with the interest of the players. The amount of posts in a dev blog has almost nothing to do with interest.

When you talk about dev blog about sieges you would except more question then a dev blog about music. I'm not saying most players liked this dev blog, but basing your assumption of the amount of posts is ridiculous.

It's pure logic. The more interest, the more posts.

Just take a look at the devblog in which they revealed the EA

I couldn't agree more. I have no problems with a blog about music. I absolutely loved the first music blog. My issue is with the presentation. If you're going to have a music blog it needs to be mainly about how the music will affect the game. No offense to Music Galatia, I'm sure they're lovely people, but asking a Medieval cover band what their favorite faction is, is ****ing useless. What good is that information to the gamer? More relevant information would be:

Does the music change when you enter new territory or is it only specific to the faction you play?
Could music be incorporated into courtship and finding a wife?
How will different situations affect the tunes you hear?
Etc.

Also it would have been nice to hear a little bit more than a minute of music in a Goddamn Music blog.

You know, I'm starting to think maybe there is no Advanced Diplomacy...

I really doubt the band can answer any of those questions. It was a devblog about them, not about how TW will use their music, which is, admittedly, part of an issue. Fingers crossed we'll have a follow-up blog, this time written from devs perspective, about the music in game, now that we know how it was made.

normal that part of the community do not care about this dev blog, it's been since 2017 that we have not had a single novelty in the gameplay of Bannerlord, or Taleworlds place more and more insignificant subjects (dev blog on camels, flags, record of dev blog lol ..) or they repeated, how many times do they make blogs on the seats to finally say anything new seriously ? and not to mention dev blog whose novelty was later removed as the calipers of horses that are ultimately not visible in game when we see the videos, or the floating capes characters and banners removed. But then to talk to us about music, there they go..

What's the difference?  I'm not gonna say this blog was bad, because I'm sure there are music lovers out there who liked it, but there is no denying that this blog is less interesting to the community than most others. I mean, there are only 3 pages of discussion so far and half of it is this argument about whether it is a good blog or not.

How can we measure interest besides amount of discussion created? Why does Youtube rank videos using amount of comments? Interest, controversy, questions, hype, its all the same really. Let's not get caught up in semantics...

Heh...there's not much discussion because virtually everyone agrees that their music is freaking awesome. Great blog guys.

Personally, I am a fan of medieval music and am quite pleased and surprised(since they are turkish) as they have recorded quite a few Cantigas de Santa Maria material.

If Ensemble Galatia members are ever reading this, please consider viewing and recording some material from Codex Las Huelgas as well. I know it's mostly liturgical material, but most of the pieces are polyphonic and very befitting to the game's atmosphere.
