Ohhhhh, yes, I like this blog. This ranks among the top 3 blogs for me. I was always hopeful for more role-playing opportunities, such as having children and creating a dynasty. I am PLEASED. I will mention this to my five friends that are probably sick and tired of hearing about Bannerlord from me, and then I will slither off to my deep, dark, den and await the next blog.

Great blog.  I'm really looking forward to playing as my daughter.  Does does that make me weird?
No, it's cool, some people want to rape a virtual woman, that is weird.

Oh boy here he comes

As a kid, my dream game was Mount&Blade (before it was released), I'd go on talking about this great idea for a game "imagine guys, take Age of Empires II, but you play only one character on the battlefield". Then I got Warband, my dream game.

Crusader Kings where you control only one character? That's beyond my dream game, man. Take my money, Taleworlds.

Uh, and happy birthday Ruwa.

Hurray, i can finally live out my dream of being an absurdly overprotective parent that will most likely get myself killed because i feel someone (read: everyone) is threatening my child!

If you die, can you continue the game as one of your children?

Yeah, i hope that permanent death will affect all the characters in the game, not just the main character.

It will be a useless feature if only the main character is affected by permadeath.

Not entirely sure about that. Cant remember my biology genetics classes, and i cant google that right now, but in many countries 51% female seem accurate.
This just got me interested in female and male differences in  game, so we can know what to expect when playing females.
As far as I know, females are slightly better at surviving than males (they're also less likely to suffer from many genetic diseases thanks to the extra X chromosome), even if male embryos might be more likely to be created in the first place. Living conditions were a lot harsher in the Middle Ages, so I think the devs considered that the nature weeded potential baby boys out more than girls back then.
