From small bandit parties preying on merchant caravans to huge armies embarking on campaigns, Bannerlord’s dynamic sandbox campaign presents players with an ever-changing, albeit hostile, medieval world. And no matter if players directly involve themselves in unfolding events or if they simply watch on, the kingdoms, clans, and lords vying for power press on with their own ambitions and goals in mind.

[/parsehtml]Read more at: http://www.taleworlds.com/en/Games/Bannerlord/Blog/133

Apparently they did some history thread about Battanians on their Twitter. They didn’t mention it on the forums/website at all, only came across it because of their Facebook page. Nothing really substantial here.

They have just dropped a new wave of Beta keys, many more servers and 100 player servers. All of that today! That is hardly a bad management, as many prefer getting a key, getting new players, or even those who didnt get it must understand that it is more important than a devblog.

More players=more feedback=better patches=faster development=more time to polish everything up=good game!

Okay, but I have neither beta key nor dev blog, so I'm launching a rebellion.

As I closed my twitter account I have missed these threads, thanks for sharing it. It is nice to know what are the inspirations of the developers.

It’s sad they will probably fall into disrepute like this in the future.

I woudn't mind if they just end this whole devblog thing.

I would be totally fine with just some multiplayer beta info and EA advertising.

No no, they are doing great by not giving any information about one thing they do for the community. Because what it seems to be worst community managing is somehow justified by giving keys once in a while.

No blogs, no updates. I'll take my glass half full and say they're on the verge of a big release (siege).

I didn't get any beta key and I don't mind.

Taleworlds don't owe us nothing.

March is coming, I don't feel I need any devblog anymore.

But Taleworlds really should be open and tell us the real status of the devblos and everything.

I still think it would be nice to inform of such decisions instead of ghosting the thread.I'm kinda in the same boat as you as I've already waited 6 years, but its not really a matter of owing and whatnot, moreover just curiosity and a thirst for knowledge on a wanted video game.
Nevertheless, I don't think that your(or our) opinion of indifference should be how the community reflects such a decision that can be considered very annoying and time wasting.

Being quiet is a good PR move too, working on the game instead of giving promises and information that may be subject to change is very important, otherwise the word nitpickers like 57...?? Could take anything said as complete truth and twist it around.
I think they gave us a lot of info already, all I care about now is that they work on the game and give updates of what needs to be updated

I wasn't the one that went 'yeah, we missed the deadline cause now devblogs are bi-weekly, aha! New schedule!' instead of just telling us that due to early access approaching and beta going on the devblogs will move to irregular schedule and will appear once/twice per month or something along those lines. No one needs to invent excuses for TW, they're big boys, they can take the fact they ****ed up on this one.

Saying that weekly dev blogs are being reconsidered because of ea approaching, or straight forward canceled is not a promise tho.

Yeah, agreed.

I was sleeping on the M&B franchise until I happened to stumble across Warband on the Xbox Store. I understand this is a PC first franchise and I have a gaming PC as well but it is broken down at the moment so I've been using Xb1. Warband is pretty darn amazing on console and I can't wait until you guys release Bannerlord on XB1, on that very day, I vow to purchase a copy for PC and XB1 as well. I love the concept and how it's an amazing hybrid of RTS, table top, open world, RPG, strategy, tactical and Sword n Sheild game. All my favorites in one game! The switch from overhead to 1st/3rd person when entering cities/towns/villages and combat is an awesome concept that I can't get enuff of. The multiple soldiers at once, old school field of war, battles are amazing and I had never encountered that in a game until this one. RTS games... Sure. But the immersive 1st/3rd person view is the kicker. Love the franchise and work you all do so far that I've experienced and I can't wait to get my PC running again and experience all the titles and I need Bannerlord like yesterday!!! Much respect and thanks for what you all do at TaleWorlds.

P.S. is there a way I can help test beta on consoles? Or fund a Kickstarter type thing for future projects. Let me know, you've got a warrior for life.

Pfft, console peasants.

Quiet, you.

What he meant to say by that is, welcome to the forum, great to meet another big fan of the series. We're all eager for the next step with Bannerlord.

Now, Fbohler, we've talked about this. Not everyone appreciates your sense of humour right away. Take it easy, would you?

We got a new moderator that I'm not aware of?
