From small bandit parties preying on merchant caravans to huge armies embarking on campaigns, Bannerlord’s dynamic sandbox campaign presents players with an ever-changing, albeit hostile, medieval world. And no matter if players directly involve themselves in unfolding events or if they simply watch on, the kingdoms, clans, and lords vying for power press on with their own ambitions and goals in mind.

[/parsehtml]Read more at: http://www.taleworlds.com/en/Games/Bannerlord/Blog/133

I don't know how they work. Based on past experience, they are done last minute. Since Callum had posted an update I figured things were back to "normal". Take all the holiday you need, just release that bad boy in March.

Nobody seems to care anyway.

I assure you that people want to know; to know about something new or information that significantly complements an existing one. Fluffy blogs at this time are dull and unnecessary, frankly.

I agree here, mate, however, i think we will hardly be getting any fresh out-of-the-oven kind of information any time soon.

As for a clarification on the already known features/info, i would be very satisfied with it.

To give just a few examples, of what i consider would be really cool to get in some of the upcoming blogs:

1.) the ambush feature exsistance mystery finally unveiled,
2.) Empire's minor factions lore discrepancy i talked about
i would really like a clear picture of every minor faction though, because there are some discrepancies going on at the moment. In the blog from february 2018. about Empire`s minor factions, we find out there are 3 of them - The Watchers (historical Akritai), Eleftheroi (historical Cossacks) and an unnamed faction of Nord guardsmen (historical Varangians).

BUT then some months after, august 2018 at gamescom, in several singleplayer gameplay videos we see in the game`s encyclopedia there are these minor factions of the Empire called Hidden Hand, Embers of the Flame and Legion of the Betrayed, all with some completely new backstories, non-related to the ones in the blog whatsoever.

I would really apreciate a clarification about this, an official one if it`s not too much to ask for.

And out of the new info:

3.) If claimants are still thing in the new game and if yes, how are they functioning?

All things considered,.i think the next thing we will get in a blog is about the new forum, similar to the blog about the new website tho.

I think they should abandon the devblog idea for good.

With the EA on the horizon, they should focus their PR efforts on unveiling the game to the overall/maintream market rather than catering us with in-depth details.

I'd be a happy chap with a blog about the attributes and how they'll influence the skills!

Absolutely. They reappeared without any explanation, after it seemed there would only be skills. Although they could be left for us to discover ourselves in March, a few words about them would not go amiss.

I wonder if they even care about this blogs. I mean if they don't do it properly and on time, they don't even need to do it at all. But at least they could let us know if it's delayed, skipped or cancelled.

I would be pretty interested in claimants and how they work like piconi said, as anyone can theoretically start a civil war in the faction, I wonder if there is a point of it? Unless there are people with more legitimacy to a faction than others.

Maybe even a simple cinematic montage of the multiplayer Beta matches (captured via the replay system not yet available to outsourced testers) followed by some statistics about how things were changing after big patches, regarding class meta usage, percentage of kills etc, wouldn`t be half bad at this point.

But let`s be honest here,it`s better to get 50% of something, than 100% of nothing

You would think they could use the blogs for that  Theyre probably going to rely on us to spread the word for majority of marketing. The fanbase is large enough that it will be on the front page of steam, high on the charts and ****

Nah, newcomers don't use to read devblogs.

They need fewer but bigger outings with videos and everything.

Just a rebranding of the "dev blogs" :fruity: It's not like there is some big event like E3 or PAX, so the best they can do is make quality blogs. As I said, advertising isnt very important.

There could be more appealing blogs to people that aren't familiar with mount and blade, little more casual but both fun to read and exciting
