How, or even if, they get there is completely down to their own choices and actions within the game. In previous Mount & Blade games, this rise to power revolves around a single character, but with the introduction of permanent death and clans in Bannerlord – two new features that work hand in hand to create a deeper, more immersive experience – some of the focus needed to shift slightly away from the exploits of an individual character. This is where the topic of this week’s blog steps to the fore: renown.

[/parsehtml]Read more at: http://www.taleworlds.com/en/Games/Bannerlord/Blog/119

I believe there was a post on discord where he said it was something personal, so I'm hoping everything is ok. At this point I'd rather have news that Callum and his family/friends are ok than the devblog.

One of your 40 employees gets sick so your company can't perform the simplest task that is writing 3 paragraphs with a screenshot on top of it.

By the way, get well soon Callum!

I hope alls well, Callum. As many others have said already, take all the time you need. I hope you start feeling better/get your personal matters sorted, my dude

Get well, don't worry about some of the bad feedback that is being reciprocated by the community. You guys have been consistent with the DevBlogs for weeks and deserve a break.

Man, that's a tough job.

You post a blog - they complain no blog is better than this ****e...
You do not post a blog - they complain you do not blog.

There is no winning with those guys

Does anybody know whats going on?

Its Monday now, and i need my Bannerlord fix :ohdear:

Do we get a new blog on thursday or 2 in one week? :fruity:

i need info, maybe we have to wait till Gamescom?

Only some guys with a time traval machine can answer you. My guess: no blog next thursday too cause it seems at Taleworlds when somebody is ill there's nobody that have the time to replace him. And don't expect to have two blogs for one !

Don't be too harsh. I'd rather wait untill Callum becomes ready for work again, full of energy and motivation to see a good blog whenever it's ready than force anyone to spam bad blogs, We're all eagerly waiting for such a long time to play Bannerlord that whenever its ready it won't matter how many blogs were done. On the other hand its been so long that we are craving for fresh info about the game.

Given that it is now Monday, and Callum said it would be delayed a day before going silent, I'm more concerned about his personal well-being than getting a screenshot and some vague info about a video game.

A personal issue that results in a delay of this length, and general silence about the situation, tells me it's both significant, and highly personal. I'm guessing a medical issue, or family related. I hope he's alright, and wish him the best in getting through whatever he's dealing with.

I've been reading these boards since the first M&B, but never cared to jump into the conversation until now. I know that people here are often not the greatest at waiting for things, and delays are often a sore spot that brings out frustration, but I'm hoping we can all show some restraint and compassion here. I'm sure this isn't laziness or lack of care on his part, or TW's, something is clearly going on. If it is a health of family issue, I wouldn't care if it delayed a release date announcement by a month, it is after all, just a game.

What are you liars, you're all still what his situation is just lickert and want for it gave them Dostum in the PTA! It just looks ridiculous...

Densplay: you are ridiculous.... - this vernacular statement has me concerned with how often you pick up the bottle.
before you state something you may want to reflect on what you are about to say as well as not say it incoherently.

this may come as a shock to you, but some people do care about the well being of others whether or not they have ever meet them.

some people have hope for humanity and a cheery outlook at life. I myself am not usually one of those, but in a real sense of conversation realize different people think and behave differently then you. your truths and beliefs no matter how impassioned or correct you think you are, are not viewed the same by the majority of the world.

this being said, i don't wish any ill will has come to the staff or there family, but knowing, since i am an adult and work an average adult job, knowing there is an issue, a meeting or discussions could be had and the blog could have been written and placed.

to stay competitive, driven, and humbled - realize any employee including myself can be replaced at any time, thats why you reaffirm your education, life skills, continue learning and never stop growing as an individual so you can adapt and continue to push higher your carrier and life goals.

In the same boat as you, I've been around for years but never really posted much. I read that there was a personal matter that needed to be attended to and wanted to give my condolences. I really hope everything is fine with Callum.

So I'm simply curious about the death system, Suppose you die and have two eligible kids for the throne would one be thrown into the shadows, or we the kingdom be torn into two in a civil war fighting over who's the rightful king. I personally think that would be an awesome feature fighting your brother for your father's kingdom, having lord betray you, and lords that would die for you because they believe you to be the rightful king.

But just an idea

From the way they described it, there seems to be a"deathbed will" kind of system were in you are allowed o select your successor jut before your character dies, most likely meaning there will be no wars of succession. However, I could definitely see a mod doin this, which I think would be really cool.

Callum just said he was sick! Not on his deathbed. Lets not get ahead of ourselves.

Who would he choose as his successor though? Personally, I'd recommenced Terco :fruity:
