Thing is you can’t get in the business area unless you are affiliated with anyone it it industry wise.

I know. I was pointing out that Callum mentioned they would be in the business area.

Sadly yes, I meant to say that it wasn’t clear in their general communication for anyone not reading the forum and only reading their dev blogs on their site or social media.

“Live at Gamescom” When you travel to Cologne for taleworlds/bannerlord, to only find out its only business visitors so no common folk allowed.... Could have made that clear tho’

I’ll try to bring this to his attention.

+1  imagine attending gamescom mainly for Bannerlord, then this happens

Sadly, I was there primarily for Bannerlord, although i enjoyed the rest of it aswell. Although slightly disappointed m, oh well

Am I the only one who wasn't all that impressed with the current gameplay and game feel, It feels a bit too raw , its like a modded warband , I know its supposed to be , but I saw just a few things they showed us in the dev blogs being relevant in battles , maybe I was too hyped and waited too long , I would buy this game though and even a season pass , but this doesn't feel like what we have seen so far , it feels too familiar and basic ,something is wrong or missing, I just  can't seem put my finger on it

Nothing special, seems as one of most polished mods for Warband but with different graphics and models, demo offer very few

can someone please list all the things the devs added because when i see the new gameplays all am doing is oh this is in that mod oh that too oh and this too oooh and this was in that new mod etc... sorry i am stupid pls help  :dead:
edit: nvm found a post doing listing all that but lol  but it is not terrible and modders you ppl are awesome

Yall say this because we havent seen the new crafting, sieges, town and kingdom management yet and many more features.

After seeing the "leaked" gameplay  I have mixed feelings at best.

+ Some city names from WB appear in altered form. I hope there are some villages, too, with altered names of WB cities. Helps continuity.
- Colors are ugly everything has a yellow tint.  Check how Kingdoms Come Deliverance handled colors and lighting. Or any other game. The teaser has far better colors.
- Borabos's beard is ugly, especially its color.
- There was an article where a graphic guy explained the amount of work they put into a single model. I think this huge amount of work barely appears in the game. The only really beautiful thing is the look of horses, and of course the people.
- A lot of walk needed from before the city gate to the streets even though the guy has a horse!
+ Silhouettes of troops on the strat map.
+ Fewer skills. Perfectly enough.
- Ugly and dirty clothing in many cases. People were able to wash their clothes even in the early middle-ages or earlier.
+ Arabs now have rivers and a big sea. Such a big sea is unimportant but having rivers make them more believable.
+ Icons in settlements show where can we find the important places.
+ Civil clothing set. But having a separate horse seems redundant and 2, maybe 3 item slots would be enough. The game should spawn the horse without armor when someone hasn't a "civil" riding horse. See above too much walking in cities.
- I liked the bigger banners on strat map icons in WB.
+ Cities are quite crowded.
- Equipment are still very simple. I expected different advantages and disadvantages when wearing certain items. For example different effects wearing light and heavy armor or no armor at all.

I hope spectators in the arena will have a few animations.
And I hope double kills might be removed from the game in mods.

I actually waited a long time for double kills. Never made any sense to me in warband how you swing a giant sword or axe in a group filled with enemies and you can only hit one ?

Is just a demo, many things in SP are unpolished, give feeling of a modded Warband engine game, I like all changes in BL but how equipment is simple and dirty clothes are some minor flaws. Colors? Were ok IMHO

Double kills are more fantasy and gamey, for exemple many including me and others not like this thing because longswords and zweihanders not were machine guns

I will buy this game, played Warband, loved it, but it was not really deep. I believe that devs put a lot of love in Bannerlord, and it means a lot to me.

I feel great about what was made with skills. System reminds me Oblivion a bit, cool.  And this ability to play for your family member after your main hero dies, stuns me positively!)
They are making a much better Warband game, and I love it.

Regarding M&B series:

Warband was a good game because mods and VC, some of stuff in Bannerlord will do game harder but dying in battle even to a band of ability to play as a child will do me to considering game over.

ehh what?

if you are talking about permanent death mechanics: they are not either confirmed or even detailed at all. So to assume something like "I will die on a battle against a lowly bandit and its game over" would be a gross exageration at this point.
