At the core lies the calculations and scripts which make the game operate and respond to the player’s input, but on the outer layer these operations need to be represented to the player in a way which makes sense and is easy to digest. This is where Graphic Artists step in, turning the cold plethora of numbers in to graphical representations of actions, characters and places to make the game visually come to life.

[/parsehtml]Read more at: http://www.taleworlds.com/en/Games/Bannerlord/Blog/29

"Buggy release, promised featured content ripped out or missing, no communications with the fans that have been begging you for answers and the opportunity to help by testing in beta or EA.

Released game will be buggy full of week one patches and huge flame wars on forums between fanboys and realists. Giving us Dev Q&A sessions about the color of their office and what type of clothes they wear on Fridays, all stuff we dont care about. Never answer the real questions posed by the consumers.

THIS is the reality of game developments now. Just a fat cash cow for them to milk till the next overhyped and flawed release.

You say I'm crazy? Well heres some examples....

-X-Rebirth

-No Man's Sky

-The Guild 3.....I could go on and on....

This has become the industry standard and we the final consumer and fans are not seen as humans, but as wallets that need to bleed out cash for a buggy mess. Then the devs will go on the forums and ask the fans for help and paitence as they iron out bugs. Yeah right...... what about when we were asking to help and we got nothing but silence and crappy Dev Q&A sessions about their cats favorite toy, instead of the state of the game.

Please dont do this to Bannerlord."

they dont care just forget about that.
and pray to god give you a long live to see bannerlord release date. just like me.

you have no idea how depressed I would be if this game isn't released by the time I finish school. I'm going into yr 11 soon and have been waiting for this game since they announced it.

i know. all of us feel like you. but what you can do when the development team think they have all of their life time to create this game and dont care about your feeling.

you better to be patient or forget about this game. there is not another choice.

What an entitled idiot!

the development team think they have all of their life time to create this game and dont care about your feeling.
They actualy have all their life to create this game - the only limitation is the company's finances. How much did you pay for that game ? Somewhere between 0,00 and 0,00 €. So, they are not accountable to your sensible Feeeelings. You are entitle to your opinion, and surely there are a load of objective criticism to make, but at the end, they have not taken your money yet, so... keep your calm.

can't wait for this game

your going to have to. The chance that they have a release date before the end of the month would be a blessing. Or even capable of showing us a new video this Thursday. With any luck we would sadly have to wait till Christmas. Not sure what year though?

Q4 for playable form would be pathetic in my opinion, I'm pretty sure we will get to test it before it's released. If its Q4 2018 I'll still be mad but to hell with it, as long as we get a release date it should be fine. (Dont even ****ing think of delaying after release date announcement TW)

On the Russian site, too, there is a discussion of Bannerlord graphics.

Watch the video. It is enough to look at a very small fragment of the video to see an interesting example of the beauty of nature and animation. But, most importantly - the video game of 2010!

I really don't see it coming out before Q3/2018 because of recent dev blogs.

QA folks are reacting to engine changes on a daily basis, this means the engine isn't really in its final state, QA will need a lot of time to fine tune the performance once the engine is finally set, not to mention the actual system and game mechanics testing, that would be done personally by testers.
Art folks are still working on 3D assets and even concept art right now. Looks like the game isn't in its 'finishing touches' yet, there's quite a path to tread before all those new assets are done and properly tested in-game.
If neither engine nor 3D assets are completed to this date, it's hard to imagine the game up and smoothly running anytime soon. And TW doesn't look like releasing a rough game this time.

To me, it looks like TW have decided to widen the scope of the game after the "some form or shape in 2016" failure.

Suddenly, some people misunderstood me. I want to clarify.
I have no desire to reproach the developers. On the contrary, I just want to help the developers.
I want Bannerlord to be a very good game!
