This particular video was captured from the demo we took to this year’s Gamescom, which put a heavy emphasis on large battles and sieges, dropping the player in the mid-game of Bannerlord’s campaign with a sizable warband of troops.

[/parsehtml]Read more at: http://www.taleworlds.com/en/Games/Bannerlord/Blog/126

Also, your video is on a private link list. Make it public so every sub on your channel can see it Taleworlds.

Cloth physics is pretty dope, I want that cape.

You are correct, still much more underwhelming though. Boots/helmet/gauntlets and the cape/shoulder cloth makes a huge difference.

1. I love the new inventory interface and how much information is presented on it. Also switching between your character and your companions is great.

2. The deployement interface looks great.

3. We've been hearing the same music for years. This worries me that the final game will have a very limited soundtrack.

4. Seems like a good chunk of the player's army is comprised of female soldiers. Neat.

5. Settlement management seems really nice.

6. The peasants all wearing the same yellow tunic... I hope this isn't final.

7. I find it odd that you can propose policies wherever, whenever.

Wow, Custom Battle already implemented! There's any chance of releasing a demo with the custom battle feature, so we could test our systems and the game mechanics?

The first field battle emphasised once again how OP cavalry is. Horses run far too quickly even up a steep, long hillside, and the player's horse barely seems to slow at all as it canters alone through the sea of enemies who simply charge downhill in a ragged column. Depressing and boring to watch. Horses should be considerably slower, especially on significant slopes, and they should be slowed more when colliding with infantry. When colliding at very high galloping speed, I think they should stand a high chance of tripping up, staggering of course or even collapsing- sure humans are much lighter than horses, but they are still considerable obstacles, and when hitting them at high speeds I don't think the horse would remain so stable as they do in Bannerlord.

Seriously? We've seen that menu screen dozens of times for years now, and I'm sure you've gone into ecstasy over this Nord-like figure before . Personally I am not very keen on the armour.

I haven't watched a lot of the video, could you tell me whereabouts the Custom Battle is please?

Am I the only one annoyed by the amount of logs destroying our field of view and polluting the screen?

Compare to the light and softly disapearings logs in Warband?

One thing that I feel it's a bit weird is the lack of...voices? I would like to hear some more soldiers talking and yelling, especially during a cavalry charge it would be nice to hear the riders scream as they descend on the enemies. It's just way too quiet in my opinion.

It might just be me, but the marketplace toward the start of the video seemed a bit dead. There were only a 3-5 people (that I saw) walking around the stalls, and it seemed pretty ghostly, at least in contrast to the marketplace we saw in the Gamescom 2016 singleplayer gameplay, where the market of Dunglanys was packed with people.

Is this a change that has been made to the game since 2016, or an indication of the strength of the town's economy?

Well, the feature seems workable since it's possible to access it through the menu.
