Today we want to introduce you to the development team that is working hard to make Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord possible. We are proud to have a very diverse and international team, with people from different countries and backgrounds working together every day to develop the game. We came together to take a photo at the TaleWorlds Entertainment office (say cheese!) which we hope you all enjoy. [/parsehtml]Read more at: http://www.taleworlds.com/en/Games/Bannerlord/Blog/20

@Count Delinard sorry I posted in the wrong section, won't do it again

Hello there !

I want to say first, thank you for your effort in trying to communicate more with us. It's really appreciated.

That beeing said, I have to say I find the last blog a bit lackluster. Let me explain:
Those are cool informations, but those aren't the ones we are looking for. We want to read about a release date.

Now I know we won't have any, so the next closest thing would be what features are your team working on at the moment ? What difficulties have been encountered ? What made you sure you could get the game in our hands back in 2016, and what made it impossible ? This kind of things.

For instance, something like:
"Ben is working on implementing the shield bash mechanics, and balancing it to make npcs not too OP, in the meantime Serdar is working on new cool animations for the specific kind of halberd type weapon, and Richard and Frank are working on implementing more scenes for different villages", etc...

This would help us understand where you are now, and appreciate the hard work you're doing. Because just saying 'we work hard' doesn't help us picture the thing, since we don't know on WHAT you are working.

Please consider this for the blog next week

not being funny but a/ the pic of the taleworlds team is an OLD ONE
it was one of your first blogs from several years back

second, if you do a google search youll see old interviews with taleworlds saying they started work on bannerlord after warband was released

so that is 7 years!!

7 years not 5 years!

what have you been doing for 7 years just to do what in essence is a reskin of warband!

7 years in and not a release date in sight for at least another year

and blogs of waffle that dont have anything relevant to missions or gameplay

people can tell us we are moaning and that tw dont owe us anything blah blah

but it is the fans who have gotten tw where they are now!

why is it 7 years on and it is as if they only started work 6 months ago

pathetic!
This picture is new, I'm pretty sure the old one had Lust in it

Oh my my. So much salt from entitled, naive people. You all must understand that if they are doing a blog weekly just to release new information regarding the game, the blogs will be pretty short and won't show much.. And keep in mind, Taleworlds does not owe you a game at this moment. So do please calm down!

Anyway, what a lovely bunch! I'm glad that these people, who are working very hard, are getting a bit of recognition. Really warms the heart to see who's making the miracles.

Thanks a ton for this little blog, guys. ^.^

Brevity is the soul of wit.

Wait Hold up so there's pretty girls out there that not only like video games, but like them enough to develop them! I need to get out of my parent's basement more

I think I've finally found what disappointed me about this blog. I think it could've been "served" (if thats the right word) in a better way.
I mean, the concept is "introducing of the development team" right? Then i believe it could be done with a deeper data -accompanied by more visual content- about the team, employees, developers or whatever. Something more than just a single photo of the whole team and a few paragraph of writings.

Here's some quick examples I found at DICE.com. I think that's not too hard to make it, and looks much better. I was expecting something like this, to be honest.

Just a, suggestion, but a late one.

I'm very glad that they are communicating with the fanbase, my hype train might go back up to normal level til they announced a released date

The only thing I worry about is, that the game will fail because it can't live up to the growing expectations. I mean we've been waiting for 5 years now (at least). Makes sense, that many people expect the greatest game ever created :/

All these little boys with their "recruit" account level that are yelling inside this thread are so funny, I'm still laughing reading what they are writing down.

I wanna say thanks to Callum because he mantain the promises. Today is the Devblog's day and the devblog is delivered.

That's all.

Who can't understand that this is  only a little part of the changes are slowly makes this community better, should buy a pair of Glasses.

A bit elitist. Who cares what their account level is as long as they are fans. I understand their frustration, I share some of it. Agreed people's frustrations could be expressed better, but that's no reason to put down a bunch of fans excited for the game. And yeah, cheers Callum for the bannerblog, been a long time coming
