People actually got to play the game in 2017. But yeah we're only getting teaspoons. "Years" yeah big games take years. I won't say TWs has been perfect in its handling of the public but in terms of raw development time, they aren't doing bad at all. Especially considering the size of their company.Roc302 said:
RDR2 is my go to example. 8 years in development with a much bigger budget and staff than TW could ever dream of. They don't get flack because they handled PR well. They only started talking publically about the game last year I think (don't quote me on that) and that made it easier for them to quickly generate and maintain excitement inspite of delays.
TWs put the cart before the horse, underestimating the scope of their project and realizing far too late to reconcile the damage done by that mistake.
Other than this, I have no real issue with what I've been given. Dev blogs could be better, but they were never meant to compete with big reveals.

You've just begun playing other games to cope? Damn, I've been playing Diablo 2 on my off time, reading books, painting miniatures, and just recently started teaching myself to play the bass because metal. TW can take as long as they need, I'm preoccupied mostly with my degree. If they release too soon, I might screw myself out of a future.
