Seriously, how the hell did Terco get into the beta? I don't know how long he's been playing M&B, but he only joined the forum late last year.

I think, Terco had the most informative responses to "weekly" blogs. I'd choose him too.

Now that i think of it, i remember couple of names from past blogs full on *****ing, whining and complaining on how the game is awful and should change preset equipment, there will be clones running arround, warband is better, bamnerlord will be boring af, etc....the loudest ones turns out to be the ones that were actually already in the beta.

Thats kind of worrying for the community, its either they are ungratefull bastards (which first comes to mind for us that didnt get invited lol) or, and more plausible, that nobody liked the feel of multiplayer matches of those who tested.

That doesent affect me per se, im singleplayer nerd all the way, but wouldnt like for bannerlord to have any less of a loyal and massive community of that of Warbands.

We saw in the skirmish gameplay that battle is very slow paced, still clunky, there s a lot of space for improvement in many aspects, but since TW made their own engine, i believe they can patch up at any time even the most basic features of the game, so that shouldnt really affect much the release date, because you must get feedback for singleplayer also, especially mid-late game, and to collect that data out of substantial ammount of gamers takes much time AFTER the release.

dear community members! stop crying and complaining, this one got access to the test, I want it too! Why did they get those who can't play? they took just those who know how to play very well, the game has changed, this is not Warband. to get used to the new mechanics of the game. Be patient, and also get access, and when you try it yourself, then criticize.

I second this. If anything btiching that some people got in and you didn't doesnt really show taleworlds you want to play to help.

If everyone was waiting to play it before saying anything they like/dislike, this forums existence would be unnecessary.

It would just be 5 years of waiting, reading devblogs and not commenting until couple of weeks ago when closed beta started.

Nice try being a peacekeeper though, i tried and found it unusefull.

All of us are waiting for the game, those who are lucky to try it because they enjoy it, but that they are saying the mistakes that they have and the failures of textures and others, it is not just playing the game.

Wow thanks for this blog.
Nice game play , Love the cav movement and i can see alot has been put into this to improve many parts of the game from older vids we have seen. with over 5000hrs on Warband i can not wait to get my hands on this.keep up the testing guys.

Does the body part damage mean anything apart from damage taken? I assume hitting the foot do less damage (tell that to Achilles). Does that mean armour actually protects the part of the body it is covering?

Well, tbf, you did cherry pick that from the end of his post. He was specifically talking about the people *****ing that Terco (for example) got in and they didn't, rather than people saying their opinion on how things look/feel from the video. Also, on you earlier post, I got the impression that the people complaining about classes and why not in the devblog threads werent part of the beta. Of course, I could be wrong, but all their posts felt, to me, like they hadn't actually played yet and we're just basing it off the blogs.

Kamina, we had a ~2 minute video in the engine power blog from way back when, and another short video from the "gamescom follow up blog" last year, but this is by far the longest (and best, imo) video we've gotten so far.

Okay, I've watched the video a couple of times now, audio seems a tad off in places and there are some other things I could complain about but honestly, the game just looks fun to play and I just look forward to enjoying it on release. It was quite nice to get an extended look at one part of the game.
Carry on.

I would like to give a quick congratulations to Terco_Viejo on getting into the beta as I love the humour he often brings to threads.

On the MP mode and predefined classes, I think it feels a bit like old school games like Team Fortress 2, where you got straight forward action with recognizable classes in cleverly designed maps.

I'm more of a SP guy in the M&B context, but this video left me wanting some MP action!
