People, wouldnt a 2 or 3 minutes of a gameplay video be nicer ?
You know they could just create a custom battle in one of their desert maps and create a battle between Aserai and desert bandits or maybe a battle between Aserai camelry and Imperial Cataphracts.

I see the point in the video they shared with us, they are showing us how strong the modding capacity in the game will be, allowing us to create any kind of skeletons for fantastical beings or other animals in mods but not everyone is a modder(myself included) so it would be nice if they could just share a 3 minutes long gameplay video about camels in addition to their sculpturing video.

EDIT: I think they created different kind of birds with this tool as well.
Maybe they can release this gameplay https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=180&v=SUPDGiPBflU min: 3:07

I would be great if they can add more animations for our troops. So the battles could feel more immersive

That preview video you shared is sweet! i've never seen that before. Thanks for sharing.

This devblog basically opens up space for different breeds of horses, such as short legged steppe horses for instance.

On top of that, I would love to see a cosmetical change in troops and animals appearance as your party travels, becoming more dirty and weary over time.
When the party is leaving town your horse is tidy, sporting a braided mane, your armor is nice and shiny, as are your sword and decorated scabbard, but after a few weeks out there, your horse looks like ****, with the mane all over the place, your armor is dirty and battered, the weapons look dull and splashes of dry mud hide the details of your scabbard...

This is great! It shows us what kind of options we have. Hopefully, we can get warhounds as well.

Edit: do we get Camels in MP?

I hope horses have different markings maybe random generated

If that were possible I'd absolutely support it. Although the models would still be the same, horses would have a certain degree of variation.

I'm not a fan of the rider pretending to hold the reigns when he obviously isn't, though.

This guy should hold the reins and maybe it's something you can do about the clipping sword? And any clipping in general, I would hate to not be able to have a big beard or long hair because it's clipping through the helmet.
Yeah I was bothered by this too. Clipping seems to be a problem as well, but I guess (or hope) they'll polish those up before release. Red dead redemption had a good set up, you held them and they had physics and bounced around.
I figure its more difficult for this game, with the multiple different weapons and shields in your other hand, juggling between holding them or not. But didn't they just guide with their legs when hands were full? Guess it would just take a real good animator

Personally, I hope for other animals - mounts and otherwise.

Since hunting was a big part of the life of nobility in the Middle Ages (and beyond) I think it should be implemented into the game as well. Something like being asked by your liege lord/king to go on a hunt with him. If you are good at it - and he likes you - he will be impressed and your standing will increase with him. If, on the other hand, you are good at hunting, and he is a jealous type, you may actually decrease your standing. There are many options here for making hunting meaningful. Proper game/deer AI is warranted as well, however, if this is going to work.

I would love to see this feature, along with hunting dogs! & war dogs to hunt bandits with pleaseeee

+1

This shouldn’t be difficult for them to do. Different horse breeds could have distinct colours.

2) In regards to troops - will it be possible to have similar bonuses? It would be amazing if the troops from a certain cultural background would get some terrain bonuses, or a morale bonus upon defending their homeland.

Pretty certain that is possible in Warband.
With a hassle yes, but possible

Dear Taleworlds

that is a funny name.

the amount of energy spent looking for the game forum, creating a account, searching for this thread and posting a new message is quite surprising, if all you wanted to do is forget the game.

Did you play/see the entry video for Dragon Age battle? Those warhounds were dead in seconds. Waste of resources

Total War(IIRC) used warhounds, but they were only really good for flanking or against weak units. You also would lose control of them after charge.

we need donkeys that can carry extra equipment for your party into battle. this way archers can pick up more quivers when they run out!

Damnit kal quit ****ting on our dreams. They could be in villages for defence, or hunting as someone suggested or for weak units like you said! Let us have this pls

people in the forum don't make or break decisions on game features, that is stuff only the devs can and/or do

so dont worry when people disagree with you. What you can do is keep a good discussion on the topic and try to improve on your idea. Who knows, you may end up with such a good design that a dev will just look at it and say: "Damn, I am adding this even if I need to work weekends for free!"

keep the hope
