Is there a map which includes labels for every region, mountain range, river, sea, road etc. etc.?
I see people using names for deserts and so forth but don't know where to find this info.

As far as i know, only a desert, couple of seas and a lake (?) have "names",most of which we found out during the factions' previews in the dev blogs.
For example the Nahasa desert is mentioned in the Aserai dev blog.

The best thing we have for now, and what we can hopefully build on when the lore gets more details, is this thread.

Not that I know of. However, if you right click on a villages name (or look up the village in the encyclopedia by pressing the N button) it will tell you a little something about the village and the surrounding area; something like: village X is nestled in the shade of the Carassic Massif or village Y lies next to the Tryn River.

Thanks.
I wonder if they'll ever actually name every landmark etc. There are so many distinctive zones.

I think only a few villages have such descriptions, hopefully it'll be expanded.

You have to look for the ones specifically close to a river or mountain range to find these descriptions

It would be great if the names of the geographic features showed on the map. I remember the Last Days of the Third Age mod had it so that when you zoomed way out on the map, it showed the names of the forests and mountain ranges, but they'd disappear when you zoomed in. I always thought that was a nice feature

You bet.
I've suggested something like that some time ago, pretty much like in Battle Brothers for instance:

Hopefully not hard to mod.
