Desktop icon

Can we please get an option in the install/patching to NOT get an icon on the desktop?

I know that I can just delete it, but I shouldn't have to.

I like the d3d, it's like a cool mystery! And an option to not instal it on the desktop I guess is needed. Though I always despise having to search for icons in start menus.

Its not like the desktop icon is that bad... Its relatively cute to be honest :
