Deshavi Disappeared For Good

Recruit
Hi. I am a new player in Warband. So i recruited a lot of companions when i got used to trading.
I got a combo which i found on net: Matheld, Artmenner, Borcha, Lezalit, Rolf, Nizar, Bahestur.
And i additionally got Katrin and Deshavi thinking that my persuasion of 3 would help me avoid any conflicts.

But the morale of Bahestur, Borcha, Deshavi and Katrin dipped so i decided to fire Deshavi and Katrin.
All their morale had dropped to 30.
So heres what happened. I fired Deshavi first.
So she says she is sick of this war and stuff. And she is "appaled at my choice of companions, happy about my style of leadership and not at all happy about the general state of affairs"
Then she says she is leaving Calradia for better lands but she hopes to run into me at sometime.
So does that mean she has disappeared for good? I have checked all the travelers in the taverns but she is never listed.

Due to this i did not fire Katrin but kept sending her and Bahestur alternatively on intelligence missions to get both their morale above 50 before firing Katrin at which point luckily she didnt leave Calradia.
So has Deshavi really left for good or will she appear after some months?

Another thing. I play at toughest difficulty except for automatic block. Now i hear 2-h swords are supposed to be slower than 1-h or short swords.
In tournments even though i sometimes get 1-h against a 2-h weilder, he still manages to slash me first.
My 1-h weapon proficiency is at 140. And this happens even though my opponent isnt Xerina, Kradus or Dranton.
Not only this, they sometimes feint spam me.
Is this normal. How can a slower weapon hit faster than my 2-h one.
Does keeping combat speed at fastest cause bots to attack faster than their weapon speed permits?

They usually reappear after a while. You can't have Deshavi in the same team as Borcha and Rolf though; she hates them.

Same with Bahestur and Karin. Go with Bahestur/Alayen/Firentis or Karin/Marnid/Nizar.

Weapon speed isn't determined by whether it's one handed or two handed. Each weapon has its own weapon speed, which you can see listed on the weapon stats. Some two handed weapons are faster than some one handed weapons. Their proficiency might also be higher than yours.

Edit: As for feint spam, I think that happens when you auto block spam. Wait for them to start swinging before trying to block, and don't just spam the block button.

i remember he said he is in arena, so it mean is practice two handed, and practice one handed. and practice two handed should be slower than one handed version.
remember if u use a shield your attack speed is very slow. since one handed weapon come with a shield. u probably use a shield too.
and he is right sometimes exactly after they block they do a lightning fast attack. i am not sure what cause this,
this happen for player in reverse sometimes exactly after a block, ur next attack come very very late.

Please spend another 30 minutes before posting.

edit: I realised that my post was mean, I don't want to try to teach you anything in a public forum. I suggest that you organize your sentences so not english speakers as both of us can read smoothlier. I'm not a grammar na-zi, ur instead of your doesn't hurt my eyes, I just ask clarity. no problemo ?

did u read my post? did u read the post above me? do u know what this topic is about?

its about attack speed in arena, in arena everyone get a practice weapon, enough said. since its a practice two handed weapon, against practice one handed weapon, the post above me wasn't relevant. (he said attack speed of weapons are different,...)

ugh. its completely understandable (well at least for me, so much for comparison :S). tell me what u didn't understand and i will explain. remember u must read the whole topic to understand what i am talking about.

edit: point taken, sadly I used this phrases for a long time, i didn't even use punctuation a few days ago, so if you tell me what is wrong, I will try to correct them, i really appreciate that u you criticize me, since it only help me. (it was not an act, it is what i believe).
a general advise: remember if u you offend someone, that person equip his shield, and then it would be harder to correct his mistake.
see how many u turn to you

Sorry, I forgot that in Native you change into a tunic and use wooden weapons for tournaments. So yeah, as omegaweapon said, what I said about different weapon speeds is irrelevant.

Thanks for clearing up the attack speed confusion. I appreciate it.

But has the Deshavi thing happened to anyone else. Has anyone ever fired a companion at 30 or so morale and have them say they are  leaving Calradia?
Do companions do that?

are u sure, my english is not what i am proud of, so maybe i can explain if u didn't understand what i mean, did u used a shield with a one handed weapon?
another note: every 100 weapon proficiency add 15% attack speed (need confirmation) every point in agility add 1% attack speed. that's why agility is more important for a pure fighter than str.

i believe he doesn't leave forever, but it take a long time, for her to be available again.

I have lost Deshavi before and had no idea where she went and travellers wouldn't tell me where she was so I eventually gave up and continued the game and then randomly she popped up when I was travelling the world map asking if I can take her back now so I did and she's stayed in my party ever since. This has happened twice to me, both times after loosing a battle and being taken prisoner. Just wait it out she will appear again.

Yes i did understand your english. And that shield tip and the speed bonus related to prof and agi helped too. Thanks a lot.

Somewhat off-topic but, omegaweapon, your line about, "remember, if you offend someone, that person equip his shield," is a masterpiece of poetry and is correct on so many levels.  My compliments.

And I've seen companions disappear for months, but not one ever stayed gone.  They all come back.

LOL, ehm thanks  (well just thinking about how this topic evolve, make me wonder )

but companion do disappear, there is a quest that you lend your companion to a lord, in this time if any war happen btw your nation and that lord nation, you may never see your companion. so be careful on that quest.

I've lost some companions for good (it's been over 200 ingame days now) but I think it was a bug caused by updating an old game, so you should be ok
