Nuclear bombs are a lot less complicated than the human brain. There's a reason they don't teach you neuroscience in high school. That stuff is really, really complex - we hardly know what part does what. There are anti-depressant pills, but there's nothing that magically cures mental illness, as the illness could vary greatly from person to person.

In some. Worse (from my point of view - I am kind of pro-suicide), they screw with the way that people think. I've seen friends on Prozac and Lithium who become husks of what they once were. They start seeming like normal shmoes.
