Deliver 4 sword

I am supposed to deliever "4 sword" to someone. I have 6 swords but he doesn't seem to accept them. Does he want a certain kind of sword?

Yes, he will have asked for a specific kind of sword, four of them. Can you provide anymore information? It should sya under the quest window wich kind.

No, no, no. There is a type of sword which is called simply "sword". Not any of the varieties, those won't work. Just keep looking. I remember that last time it took me a while to find 4-5 plain "swords" myself.

Well, there are 2 handed and one handed swords, he isn't asking for two handed.

In versions .70x, the longsword has been renamed "sword."

So look for swords' that have the name of "sword."

Just "sword."

No "arming sword" or "great sword"

Make sure "sword" is all it says. It will look similar to an arming sword, but the hilt will be straight, not curved, and the grip will be grey.

I had this problem with "axe"
I tried: hand axe, hatchet, great axe, fighting axe, that axe with two sides....

On a separate note, does it matter if the weapons that you deliver are 'chipped' or 'rusted'? Or do they all have to be in 'perfect' conditon?

Nope, low quality equipment is just fine.

They can be crap quality. So if you want to take extra time on your item quests, you can improve your margins by just buying lesser quality items.

I' ve come accross a probleme, the king is asking me 4 glaive, but i can't find any glaive item in the game?
What does he want?

(Sorry not native english speaker, i thought Glaive were short sword but nothing is namd glaive as far as i saw)

Also what are the "tools" merchand sold for?

the glaive is basically like a spear with a big blade. You'll find it.

tools are only used for trading.

thank you for the quick answer, i'll recheck, i've to admit is mostly checked sword since glaive is a small sword in French.
Btw is there a list that has all the weapons? i cant find anything better than my great lance and i ve had it for a while, wondering if there is an upgrade.
