Name and banner. You've made sure you aren't violating any copyright laws right? I don't know much about how it works out, other then to be wary.

Something I would like to point out, I don't know about the name but your banner is copyrighted by Bethesda Entertainment's "The Elder Scroll's V: Skyrim", and I would like to point to you Vornne's rules for the banners at the first page on the "Heraldry Registry" topic.

"A banner image preferably in a lossless or uncompressed format like .png (not something like .jpg, which can look blocky when scaled up on the armor) with dimensions of 140 pixels width and 341 height (though larger or a tiny bit smaller sizes can be scaled to fit).

Specify the background color you want used: this will be used for the back of heraldic armors, and lightened slightly by the code for faction color in the chat and player stats chart. The banner will look best on armor if the color you choose is the main one around the edges of your banner, but another color on the banner could be used if you want it.

The banner generally looks best if the main design is central and doesn't stretch right to the edges, or it will be partially cut off on the banner and armor items in game; and also that the design be fairly bold and simple, since intricate details will not be easily visible on enemy soldiers or the flag on a distant castle.

You must have created the image yourself or been given it from someone else who did: taking banners from other mods or games without permission is not acceptable."

Yup, nothing personal, but you've gotta be really careful with copyright stuff.

Don't be scared Stafforda, you can keep the name and banner in the thread or do you really think that a big corporation really cares about what happens in here? And, even if they cared about what happens here (and they don't care), do you really think they will pay lawyers and time to sue you? And even if they try to sue you, you aren't making money with this and it's something that probably just 50 persons are seeing, I don't think any serious court would consider this, they will care about real thefts, not a boy who used an image of his preferred game in a game mod faction. Please...

But if anyone asks.. I didn't say a word...

Thanks Everyone for all your support, and helpful info. Thanks for the warnings about the copyright. I agree with Dark_Hamlet tho. Im using just for a mod in a game. They shouldent have a Problem with that. If they do have a problem I will take it down.

Thanks for all your support guys, I appriciate it much .
